It is interesting to visit another country, but there are some problems when we don't know the1very well. It may be difficult to talk with the people there. We may not know how to use the telephone in the country we are visiting. We may not know how to buy the things we need. In a2country we might not know where to eat or what to order in a3. It is not easy to decide how4to tip waiters or taxi drivers. When we need help, we might not know how to ask for help. It is not pleasant to have an experience5that. After a short time, however, we learn what to do and what to6, We learn to enjoy life in another country, and then we may be sorry to leave.

    Traffic rules help to keep order on the road. They also help to keep people s{#blank#}1{#/blank#}. The pedestrian (行人) has as many rules to f{#blank#}2{#/blank#} as the driver of a car. You should walk on the sidewalk (人行道) or at the side of the road. Always look {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (careful) before you walk across the street.

    If you like riding {#blank#}4{#/blank#} bike, don't ride in the middle of the road or run through red traffic lights. When you ride a bike w{#blank#}5{#/blank#} a friend, don't look around or talk.

    If you drive a car, you should s{#blank#}6{#/blank#} down at the traffic lights. You must always wear a seat belt (安全带), Without belts b{#blank#}7{#/blank#} the driver and the passengers may be badly hurt in a sudden accident.

    You may not need to take a bus, but look out if you have to travel in one. Get on or get off a bus only when it comes to a s{#blank#}8{#/blank#}. When it is full, don't try to get inside, o{#blank#}9{#/blank#} you may fall off.

Kunqu Opera (昆曲),also known as Kun Opera, is a kind of Chinese musical drama (戏剧).But it is more than just drama. It is actually a kind of art{#blank#}1{#/blank#}history, music, dancing and others.

It is {#blank#}2{#/blank#}believed that Kunqu Opera is the beginning of all the other forms of Chinese opera. With a long history of over 600 years, Kunqu Opera started in the city of Kunshan at the end of the Yuan Rynasty. It became quite {#blank#}3{#/blank#}in the Ming and Qing dynasties. In 2001,Kunqu Opera was {#blank#}4{#/blank#}as one of the Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity (人类口述和非物质遗产代表作).

    Electricity is an important part in our life. We can't see or touch it, but it is all around us. Our life will be terrible without electricity. But some people don't know that everyone should save electricity. When it is not completely dark, many street lamps (路灯) light up early in some streets. Some people don't turn off the lights when they leave the room. Some people are sleeping with the lights on. They are all wrong. Here I make some suggestions about stopping these things:

    *Turn on the street lamps on time. We light them from 7：00 p. m.～5：30 a. m. in summer, and from 5：30 p. m.~6：00 a. m. in winter.

    *If some small areas are very dark, just turn on a few lights.

    *The distance (距离) between street lights can be 50～60 meters. It can save electricity and money.

    *If there are some activities, such as fairs, we can make the lights bright；if there is no activity, lights needn't be too bright.

    Ask people to save electricity through TV shows, newspapers, and so on.

    Electricity is a valuable resource (资源). It helps us live well and conveniently. We should take action to save it at once!

After a relaxing weekend, children have to go back to school on Mondays. For parents, they should do something helpful (有帮助的) to let their children get to school on time.

Let children take a good shower. It's good for children to take a shower before they go to bed. It can not only help them sleep well but also save time next morning.

Ask children to go to bed early. School starts at 8：00 a.m. So please let your children go to bed before 9：30 p.m. Your children should (应该) sleep for about nine hours every day. This is quite important because they have to get up early next day.

Make a good breakfast for children. Breakfast can help children study better (更好的) in the day. It can help students listen to teachers carefully (细致地) and think well in class. Also, it's good for their health.

Getting to school on time is very important for your children. So please help them. If you can do the things above (以上), they will study and live happily.
