When I met Larry, my husband-to-be, he came with an eighteen-month-old daughter, Mckenna, and a four-year-old son, Lorin. I quickly {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (fall) in love with Lorin and Mckenna, {#blank#}2{#/blank#} the children's mother, Dia, was a different story.

    I had an impressive trip to the Huashan Mountain last summer vacation. The scenery of the mountain is so beautiful and so different{#blank#}1{#/blank#} even now, whenever I close my eyes, I feel the breathtaking scenery in front of{#blank#}2{#/blank#} eyes.

    Although the mountain{#blank#}3{#/blank#} (stand) just 2,100 meters tall, it's known as one of the most difficult mountains to climb. There are cable cars(缆车) to take, but visitors are advised{#blank#}4{#/blank#} (go) up on foot. Only in this way can you see {#blank#}5{#/blank#} special the rocks are and what danger you place yourself in. Climbers make their way along very narrow paths up the mountain{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(face) the deep cliff (悬崖), with the help of{#blank#}7{#/blank#}iron chain. Every visitor is required to wear a safety belt，{#blank#}8{#/blank#} makes sure that he can enjoy the fantastic view without fear of falling.

    Besides the{#blank#}9{#/blank#} (nature) beauty, the Huashan Mountain is also known {#blank#}10{#/blank#} its rich cultural relics. The way up to the mountain-top is also a trip to go over the Chinese history. If you have never been to such a great place, set it as a must in your calendar of this year!

Living in a city can be stressful. But people in Bogota, Colombia have found a place to help ease stress and get a{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(peace) break from busy life. The place is a {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(protect) park for hummingbirds(蜂鸟).

The park is at the top of Montserrat Hill. The area{#blank#}3{#/blank#} (contain) a forest which has turned into a quiet place for both people and birds. As the hummingbirds fly from flower to flower, some people take pictures with cameras or phones.

"Sometimes it doesn't seem real because we are close to{#blank#}4{#/blank#} city with the population of 8 million,{#blank#}5{#/blank#} create noise every day," said Camino Carter, a caretaker in the park. His job is{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(mix) water and sugar that is put in bird feeders.

Presently, there are 115 species of birds, including 18 kinds of hummingbirds in the park.
