Hello, my name is Fang Xiang. Kate is my {#blank#}1{#/blank#} name. I'm thirteen. My birthday is {#blank#}2{#/blank#}  May 25th. Today is my birthday. In the {#blank#}3{#/blank#}, my parents take me to a clothes {#blank#}4{#/blank#} and buy me a yellow sweater. I {#blank#}5{#/blank#} it very much. In the afternoon, we take a trip. It's very {#blank#}6{#/blank#} and relaxing. In the evening, we have a  {#blank#}7{#/blank#} at home. My friends Gina, Eric and Jenny come to my party. They give (给) me a birthday card. It's very {#blank#}8{#/blank#}. My parents are very {#blank#}9{#/blank#}, but they are very happy. I have a good {#blank#}10{#/blank#} today.

    The end of the term is coming. We become more and more excited because we will {#blank#}1{#/blank#} several weeks off school and can do our favourite things. For example, we can get together with our {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. When the weather is good, we can have a picnic in the park and play games{#blank#}3{#/blank#} . Sometimes we can spend our holiday in a  {#blank#}4{#/blank#} part of a country. For me,  {#blank#}5{#/blank#}   always like relaxing myself on the beach in the south.

    My grandpa is seventy-six years old. He often tells me about his old days when he is {#blank#}1{#/blank#}. Grandpa often says, " {#blank#}2{#/blank#}is much better today. Now you have lights, but when I was a child, we  {#blank#}3{#/blank#}candles. Travelling used to be very difficult, but now it's much easier." My grandpa was born in a poor {#blank#}4{#/blank#} so he didn't get much {#blank#}5{#/blank#}However, he never stopped {#blank#}6{#/blank#}.As a child, Grandpa hardly ever played games with other children. Instead, he read {#blank#}7{#/blank#}to increase his knowledge. When Grandpa was eighteen years old, he {#blank#}8{#/blank#} a job as a postman. No matter it was in {#blank#}9{#/blank#}or in summer, Grandpa worked ten hours a day. He loved his job very much. In Grandpa's {#blank#}10{#/blank#} knowledge is wealth. He often encourages me to read a lot.
