    Many scientists think that life may be very different by 2050.

    First of all, TV might not be used by 2050. People will choose music, films, programs and newspapers on the computer. And they can smell(闻) and touch things on the Internet. That sounds really interesting.

    Water pollution(污染) will become the most serious problem by 2050. Human beings will need more water than today. There will be less fresh water on the earth.

    Cars will not only run on the land but also fly in the air by 2050. That can help to alleviate the heavy traffic. There won't be any accidents, because computers will control the traffic. What's more, the speed of the plane will be much faster. It'll take only 2 hours for people to fly from Los Angeles to Tokyo.

    Robots will become very popular by 2050, because they don't ask for money and can work 24 hours a day. We'll see robots everywhere — factories, schools, hospitals, shops and homes.

    By 2050, medicine will be improved a lot. Cancer and AIDs won't be serious diseases.

    One sunny afternoon, I went for a walk on the beach. There I saw a special crab (螃蟹). It had two claws (螯).一个螯比另一个人螯大得多、长的多。I had never seen such a crab before. So on my way home from the beach, I walked into the library.

    Luckily, I found a book named Come with me to the Edge of the Sea. It had many pictures of animals living near the sea. The pictures of male fiddler crabs (雄性招潮蟹) looked quite like the crab I found on the beach. I learned a lot about that kind of crab.

    Sometimes a fiddler crab puts the small claw across the big one. It looks like it is playing the fiddle (violin) when it does this, so some people call it the fiddler crab Sometimes it waves its big claw. It looks like it is saying hello. That's why other people call it the calling crab. Fiddler crabs' eyes are on long eye stalks (眼柄). They can put up their eye stalks to look around~ It makes them look taller.

    These crabs are very small. There are lots of other, bigger beach animals that want to eat them. They dig holes in the sand (在沙子里挖洞). The holes are their homes. They are safe inside them. Sometimes the sea water can bring food into their holes.

    Because of Disney's film Finding Nemo, the clownfish (小丑鱼) are facing the danger of dying out. The film received positive reviews and won the Acaden Award for Best Animated Feature. It was a success as it earned over $864 million worldwide.

    Finding Nemo is about a clownfish who tried to save his son who has been caught by a man from becoming a pet. One thing we can learn from the film is that wild animals really have to remain in their habitats(栖息地). However, the message seems not to be stuck in the minds of children. The clownfish are facing the danger of dying out several years after the animated film was on, because the film itself made them the must — have pets for kids all over the world!

    It is said that just half of needs can be met by clownfish bred in captivity(人工饲养)，which means the rest have to be taken from the sea. Now the average(平均的) size of clownfish schools (鱼群) in Australia, has decreased from twenty-five members to just six, making it harder for them to breed. Dr Billy Sinclair who has spent five years studying the clownfish was the first to raise the alarm, “The film did much to educate children about sea life but the fish were then sold as children's pets. My message to kids who loved the film is simple: Tell your parents to leave Nemo in the sea where it belongs.”

The 85th Oscar Academy Awards was held on February 25, 2013, in Los Angeles. Ang Lee(李安),a Chinese director won the best director again. It was his second time to win an "Oscar".

    Nowadays it becomes more and more common for films to be made away from Hollywood itself, but it remains the home of films, and thousands of hopeful young actresses, actors, writers and directors still come to "the Dream Factory" every year. But not all Hollywood dreams have been happy ones- as one actress, who later died tragically(悲惨地), said," Hollywood is a place where they will pay you 500 dollars for a kiss, and 50 cents for your soul.
