Jiang Wen and his new film are at the top of the world - the world of Chinese cinema. His Let the Bullets Fly has just broken the box-office record for a Chinese film with some 700 million yuan ($107 million). It is such a big success that wherever you go, you can hear people talking about Bullets.
This time, he is not just the leading actor in the film, ______ also the _______ himself. Young people believe he was playing himself because to them, he himself is a true man. And experts also think highly of his way of telling stories. It seems that he does not need others to tell him how great he is ––– not any more.
That does not mean he is not proud of Bullets. It's just that Bullets, for him, is fun. He has heard of all the political interpretations（政治隐喻的解读）of his story that have up across the Web and mainstream media（主流媒体）.
The most wonderful scenes in his movies all seem to have something to do with reality, for example, in Bullets opens with a train pulled by white horses.
"I did not invent this set-up. For 30 years in the early 20th century, there was a part of rail line in Northeast China that was powered by horses," he explains, "You may come up with the most unlikely scenes, and you'll find that fact is stranger than fiction."

    China has decided to stop the use of free plastic bags. Supermarkets, shops and outlets(经销店) in China can't offer plastic bags any more.

    Every year, people use too many plastic bags. They throw them here and there after they have used them. The government has done its best to deal with them but failed. While we offer quick service（服务）to customers, the plastic bags pollute water, earth and air, and they waste the oil. The government asks people to go back to carry cloth bags and use baskets when they go to buy something. The cloth bags and the baskets can be used again and again.

    Many months have passed. The environment has been improved a lot.

    We spent this holiday with our uncle. He loved to go on walks to collect stones. One day, he bought us backpacks(背包） and asked us to go to the mountain with him and carry the stones.

    The whole day we walked around. Every now and then he put stones in our bags. To our surprise, he also took some stones out from our bags. But we thought he had just found better ones. When we returned to the house, we were very tired. The backpacks were so heavy that we felt relaxed when we put them down. Yet our uncle's backpack was half empty.

    “Why did you give us so many stones?” we asked.

    “I didn't. You did.” He said. “You didn't know it, but I gave you a test today. I listened to every word you said. Whenever you were complaining (抱怨), I added a stone to your bags. Whenever you talked about something with positive (积极的) thinking, I took out a stone. And now look at your backpacks.”Our backpacks were full of stones.

    “Your negative(消极的) thoughts are like stones. You carry them in your mind just like those stones in a backpack. Once you have more negative thoughts ,your mind will be heavier.”

    With great love, our uncle taught us one of the most important lessons in life.
