In Britain and American, people were feeling depressed because the bad economic situation. Charlie understand their problems. Once a woman came to Mahatma Gandhi, known for the father of the Indian Independence Movement. She asked Gandhi to persuade her son give up eating sugar, that she thought was bad for his body. Gandhi asked the woman to bring a boy back in a week. Exactly one week late the woman returned, and Gandhi said to the boy, “Please give up eating sugar.” The boy agreed willingly.

The woman thanked Gandhi and as she turned to go, she asking him, “Why didn't you say those word a week ago?” “Because of a week ago, I myself have not given up eating sugar.” Gandhi replied in a calmly voice.

As we all know, everyone have a dream. I have dreamed of being a doctor since I entered into the primary school. Nowadays with modern life go rapidly, many people suffer from different kind of diseases, both mentally and physically. As a result, doctors are in great need at home and abroad. My dream is to become successful doctor, helping to save people's lives. Although to be a good doctor was very difficult, I will do whatever I can to keep everyone health. To make my dream come true, I have told me over and over again that I'll concentrate more to studies. After all, only by working hardly can one succeed.

It was in a hot summer holiday which I visited Qingdao, port city in Shandong Province. My favourite sport is swimming, so I decide to go swimming in the sea one afternoon with my friend, Wang Fei and Li Lei.

It was the first time that I had swum in the sea, with waves come one after another to the shore and making great noises. Facing the rough sea, I felt a bit worrying and nearly gave up at first. And when I saw many people enjoying myself in the water, my fear was reducing. At last I joined in the swimmers. Now I still remember what wonderful swimming in the sea was.
