Have you ever imagined {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (live) in 2116, 100 years from now? A recent study describes robots, underwater cities and holidays in space. City planners and experts on space and architecture were asked {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (give) their ideas on life in 2116. According to them, the way people live, work and play will be totally different{#blank#}3{#/blank#} how we do these things today. They also said that 25 years ago, people couldn't imagine how the Internet {#blank#}4{#/blank#} the smart phones would change our lives. But today, both have changed the way we communicate, learn and do daily things, and the changes in the next century will probably be even {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (great).

    Those{#blank#}6{#/blank#} (question) in the research said that people may not go to offices in the future but will work at home instead. People will have advanced 3D printers that will let {#blank#}7{#/blank#} download a design for furniture or a food recipe and then “print” the sofa, table or pizza at home. {#blank#}8{#/blank#} will also be less need for visits to the doctor. People will have a home health capsule that will “diagnose” what the problem is and provide {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (treat). They will also be going into space for holidays, and {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (hopeful), to get resources that have been used up on the earth.

    Research has become both simpler and more complex. It's simpler because,{#blank#}1{#/blank#} you have computer, you can find information you need by searching the Internet. For all you information, you don't have to go to {#blank#}2{#/blank#}library to find the relevant resource and take notes on it. Instead, you can find some sources from the Internet{#blank#}3{#/blank#}print the copies needed. Remember, however, that you should usually consult different types of sources. That is, you {#blank#}4{#/blank#}always rely just on the Internet for you research.

    While finding information is easier than ever, at the same time, researching has become {#blank#}5{#/blank#} complex. There is a lot more material available, which means you may be overwhelmed {#blank#}6{#/blank#}the amount of information. You need to learn {#blank#}7{#/blank#} to sort through and find the relevant information for your particular project. Also,{#blank#}8{#/blank#} need to check the accuracy of it.

    There's no electricity {#blank#}1{#/blank#} water. However, one thing is for sure, I've become more imaginative in my teaching. Science is my most {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (challenge) subject as my students have no concept of doing experiments. In fact, there is no {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (equip), and if I need water, I have to carry it from my house in {#blank#}4{#/blank#} bucket! The other day I {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (show) the boys the weekly chemistry experiment when, before I knew it, the mixture was bubbling over everywhere. Sometimes I wonder {#blank#}6{#/blank#} relevant chemistry is to these students, most of {#blank#}7{#/blank#} will be going back to their villages after Year 8 anyway.

    Tombe's father, Mukap, led us to his house, a low bamboo hut with grass {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (stick) out of the roof — this shows it is a man's house. There were no windows and the doorway was just big enough to get through. The hut was dark inside so it took time for our eyes {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (adjust). Fresh grass had been laid on the floor and there was a newly {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (make) platform for Jenny and me to sleep on.
