    I did {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (poor) in English in the past, but I never gave up struggling(搏斗). All my families, teachers and friends encouraged {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (I) and they taught me a lot of {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (use) ways of learning English. I {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (keep) practicing as they told me to do. I listened to English news and songs and I read interesting English stories. Thus, after the spare tire was fitted, I asked {#blank#}7{#/blank#} much I owed him. I wanted to pay him back. {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (surprising), he did not take my offer but rather told me to pass the act of kindness forward and help more people {#blank#}9{#/blank#} need. As he said those words, I noticed him wearing a smile of contentment. Helping  others seemed a very {#blank#}10{#/blank#}（nature）thing to him. I witnessed the true beauty of human nature in him.

    Online shopping is coming into fashion in most cities, where people are able to make full use of the rapidly-developing Internet technology. Nowadays, can we find a person {#blank#}1{#/blank#} has not experienced online shopping? Definitely not.

    "My mom put me in acting classes {#blank#}2{#/blank#} I was seven because I was {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (extreme) shy," says 17-year-old Beatrice Low.

    "I can't describe it, it's amazing, I love it," Low says.

    It {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (call) "Arts Connect" and pairs a class of young actors with theater professionals for a weeklong workshop.

    During one session, Beatrice works with actress Teri Hansen. She was in Milwaukee for the Marcus Center's recent touring {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (produce) of "An American in Paris."

    "It's the favorite thing that I do, {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (work) with aspiring artists," Hansen says.

    Together they work {#blank#}9{#/blank#} a song from the Andrew Loyd Weber musical "Tell Me on a Sunday," with an audience of Beatrice's young peers. No pressure.

    The Marcus Center makes the Arts Connect program free for students from three Milwaukee public high schools. It's has been {#blank#}10{#/blank#} invaluable—even life-changing—experience, Beatrice says.

    Marty Fielding began to suffer from a muscle disease when he was 10, {#blank#}1{#/blank#} sometimes made him clumsy and drop things or bump into furniture.     All in all, he has a good life. His ambition is to work in a computer software firm when he {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (grow) up. In many ways his disability has helped him grow stronger psychologically and become {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(independent). He has to work hard to live{#blank#}8{#/blank#}normal life. From him, we know we shouldn't feel sorry for the disabled or make fun of{#blank#}9{#/blank#}and that we shouldn't ignore them either. Just accept them for who they are and give them {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(encourage) to live as rich and full a life as you do.
