One morning, I was waiting at the bus stop, worried about {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (be) late for school. There were many people waiting at the bus stop, {#blank#}2{#/blank#} some of them looked very anxious and {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(disappoint). When the bus finally came, we all hurried on board. I got a place next {#blank#}4{#/blank#} the window, so I had a good view of the sidewalk. A boy on a bike {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (catch) my attention. He was riding beside the bus and waving his arms. He was carrying something over his shoulder and shouting. Finally, when we came to the next stop, the boy ran up the door of the bus. I heard an excited conversation. Then the driver stood up and asked, “{#blank#}8{#/blank#} anyone lose a suitcase at the last stop?” A woman on the bus shouted, “Oh, dear! It's {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(I)”. She pushed her way to the driver and took the suitcase thankfully. Five others on the bus began talking about what the boy had done and the crowd of strangers {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(sudden) became friendly to one another.

    Sugar sculpture blowing is {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Chinese folk art where artists blow and sculpt hot sugar to create 3D {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (figure). The finished sculptures not only look good，but also have a good taste, {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (make) them popular among children.

    The main raw material for sugar sculpture blowing is malt sugar (麦芽糖).The malt sugar {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (use) in sculpture blowing has to be heated to high temperatures. It can only be used after several steps, {#blank#}5{#/blank#} include the sorting and cooking of the malt sugar followed by the firing and melting of it.

    Sugar sculpture blowing is {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(careful) made. It can be divided {#blank#}7{#/blank#} two methods—one uses molds (模子)；the other does not，and involves sugar figures taking shape through a combination of blowing air into the processed malt sugar and the artist's flexible hand skills.

    The complex process may explain why there are fewer people making sugar sculpture. To protect and promote this {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (tradition) craftsmanship, the government of Hebei Province founded a sugar figure art {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(organise) in 2011.     Man Kaur started running in 2009, {#blank#}1{#/blank#}she was in her 90s and began racking up medals. At 103, Man Kaur is not only going strong, she's getting others to follow in her footsteps as well.

    India's oldest female athlete is spending her summer {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(coach) 30 young athletes. Kaur and her 81-year-old son and trainer, Gurdev Singh, {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (invite) for two weeks to several universities, {#blank#}4{#/blank#}their methods made such an improvement in the students' performance that they were asked {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(stay) through September.

    This invitation came on the heels of Kaur's participation in the World Masters Athletics Championships in Poland earlier this year, where she {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(win) gold in all four events. Though she was the only {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(compete) in her age category for all four events, for the 60-meter dash, she had company from other categories: two 85-year-olds and three 90-year-olds. Though they weren't competing for the prize in her age bracket, they ran alongside her and {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (eventual) ahead of her.

    Ten years after she first started running, Kaur still loves it, according to her son. "She enjoys {#blank#}9{#/blank#}company of her admirers," her son adds. "Every time she participates, she feels proud that people around the world feel {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(inspire)."
