I still remember that day. I was waiting to get some   1for shopping in a bank. Among the crowd, I noticed a little boy carrying some sunglasses in one hand and a big bag in  2 .

The boy was about 10 years old. He was walking around the people inside the  3 and asked them to buy his sunglasses. But   4 would buy any from him. He tried from one person to another. From the look on his face, I knew he would not   5 anyway.

Now, I decided to have a 6with him. I went up and asked, “Do you go to school?” He nodded his head. Then I continued, “Why do you 7 sunglasses?” He said nothing. I gave him $20 and said that I was not in 8of the sunglasses but he could keep the money. To my 9 , his face changed a lot, which is still in my memory today. I didn't know 10 to say next. Then he replied, “Either you buy sunglasses or you 11 back the money. I don't need your pity." I felt very 12 for what I did, and I told him that I would buy two pairs.

I took these sunglasses home and kept 13 myself, “Did such a young boy need to do it for his self-respect（自尊）?” He could 14take the $20 and left. But he chose to sell his sunglasses and get the money not because of others'15 . I will remember this lesson forever.

    Thirteen years ago, my sister, a very beautiful girl, was born. _1_, we were later told that this little girl, who was three and a half months premature（早产的）, would only have 14 days on the earth. It's hard to understand what kind of 2you have when you find out that you're losing something that you don't even know.

    As time went on, the number of days kept growing, which gave us hope. When the doctors said that we could take her home, that was when reality（现实）hit. We had no 3_.

    I am from a small town with small hospitals, but when you don't have money, you just don't have it. My mother tried for days to get the money, but nothing _4 each time. A caseworker was doing her best. It's5that it almost felt as if we had to 6a baby from the hospital.

    Thanks to the guy that I will 10_ know, we could take that beautiful baby girl home, and celebrate her 13^th birthday yesterday. I am thankful to this man and feel that his act of kindness should be shared with everyone.

    A king loved music. One day, a man 1 the king a harp (竖琴). When the king played it,   the harp sounded terrible. Many people tried it. They agreed that the harp was useless. It was thrown out as rubbish.

    A little girl found the harp. She didn't know how to 2 it. She decided to have a try. She played day and night. The music was never perfect,  3 each time it sounded a little better.
