    Last week our class voted on how to do for you class outing: visit the Singapore Zoo and go to the Night Safari(夜间动物园). We girls wanted to go to the zoo, but since we are in minority, we lost to the boys, that all wanted the safari. We got the admission rate for the students, which was great since I still had not enough money to buy a brochure about the park as well as something at the souvenir shops. The safari was scary(吓人的)but real fun. As we took the ride across the park's dark jungle, we could see the eyes of many creatures look at us. Most of the animal there sleep when there sunlight and wake up at night.

    My grandmother loves me very much. She is a easy-going woman. However, when it come to my study, she is very strictly. She spends more than one hour examine my homework every day.     Growing up, I didn't have much ambition and I was wasted a lot of time on video games. One day, with no reason I picked up a book, that was about seven habits of highly successful teenagers. We don't remember much about the story, but one key concept what truly impressed me was the idea of time. The book stressed the importance of use our time wisely. I know it sounds crazily t but during that time I was aimless person. However, after I read that book, I made a decision to spend as many time as possible just reading. Believe it or not, I've made great progresses since.

    Last year, when I was trying to decide if to study overseas, I talked to my friend. This was the better thing I could have done. This was a big decision for me because I had ever been overseas on my own and I was not sure if I could do it. She had studied overseas previous year. She told me about the challenges and opportunity I might come across and help me make the right decision. I went and it was amazed.

    Whenever I face with an important decision, I seek advice from another. In this way, I am well-informed but have the benefit of their ideas and experiences.

    It was extreme cold last Monday morning. While I was walking on my way to school, I noticed two street cleaner sweeping the street. Seeing them work so hard on such a cold morning, I was moved and made up my mind do something for them. After arriving at school, I discussed with some classmates that we could do. The next day, they got up early and prepared porridge (粥) at home. When we handed the cleaners with the hot porridge and expressed our appreciation for their hard work, they looked a little surprising at first. And then they takes the porridge and thanked us happily. Since it was very cold, we all fell warm at that moment.
