    Yesterday my English teacher asked each student write a composition title "The Greatest Achievement of My Life". I was not sure how to write about it. I've thought it over for a long time. I do many things. Coming to America, get a job and meeting new people was my achievements. I think my greatest achievement is learning English. Though sometime I don't understand everything people are saying, but each day I get better and better. I told my teacher this was difficult composition to write. Above all, it is hard to measure everything you have done.

    When I was little, my parents would read me some fairy tales before I sleep, I fell in love for books and I couldn't sleep if my parents missed that part. Thank to my parents, books have been part of my life. Some people educate their children to reading more books. They expect their children to make many money when they will grow up. But my parents just want me to enjoy reading. The more I read, greater joy I get from the books. Reading books also bring me some skills to solve problems in life. I know the ways to adjust myself but then face life positively, especial when I'm in low spirits. So I'll continue to read books.

    Challenges of life are of great importance in our grow. They remind me of my days in senior high school which I joined in the military training after I entered senior high school. It was the first time that I have lived away from my home, so I found it difficult to fit. And the training officer was strict with me. I once thought I couldn't stick to the end. But anyway, I was succeeded. The trials made it much easy for me to adapt to life, but I think the difficulty I came across have now become a precious memory in my life.

    In short, learning to regard the challenges of life as the stepping stone to future success and make the best of them.

    Simon's father bought him the new bike the day before yesterday, which made him very exciting. Then he began to ride it fast on the road. Seeing a man getting closely to him, Simon couldn't stop it and as a result, he knock into the man. Being very kind, so the man didn't scold him at all. Instead, he told him how dangerously it was to ride a bike so fast. He asked him to keep the lesson in mind. Simon felt regretful but ashamed. He promised keep the lesson in mind forever. Then, the man bent on and began to repair his bike. After a while, he got them repaired. Simon was greatly moved. He thanked the man and left happily.
