You may think there is nothing but sand in the desert of the world, but it is not true. In the desert we can{#blank#}1{#/blank#} stones. We can see hills, too. There is a little rain in the {#blank#}2{#/blank#}  , but it is not{#blank#}3{#/blank#}  for most plants.
　　The animals are {#blank#}4{#/blank#} to the desert people in many ways. The desert people eat the meat and drink the milk of the animals. They use their skins to {#blank#}5{#/blank#} shoes, water bags and even tents(帐篷). They use the camels(骆驼) for{#blank#}6{#/blank#}  things.
The people of the desert have to keep {#blank#}7{#/blank#}  from places to place. They must always look for grass or desert plants for their animals. They usually live in the tents. When there is mo more food for their animals, they take down their tents, put them on the camels and move to {#blank#}8{#/blank#} place. The desert people are very{#blank#}9{#/blank#} . No man in the desert would ever refuse to help the people in {#blank#}10{#/blank#}  and give them food and water

    Peter{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(be)very busy yesterday morning．He{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(do)many things．In the early morning he {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(exercise)with his grandfather in the park．After that he {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(help) his mom cook breakfast．Next he{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(clean)his room．Then he{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(go)to the supermarket and{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(buy)some vegetables for lunch．He was really busy but he{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(have)a good time．

    Linda is my good friend. She is an {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(America) girl. She is from New York, the USA. Linda often {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(write) to me. From her letters, I can {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(learn) some things about her.

    There are many rules at {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(Linda) home. She doesn't have to help her mom make dinner, {#blank#}5{#/blank#}she has to do the dishes. She has to help her mother{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(clean) the house every weekend. Every day she has to help her brother with homework.

    Linda likes{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(animal) very much. {#blank#}8{#/blank#}weekends, she often goes to the zoo near her house. There, she takes photos of the animals and plays with them. Linda also likes music. She can sing and play the piano {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(good). Her dream is to be a {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(sing).

    Today is Saturday. I am on the beach with my friends. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}beach is very beautiful. And it is really a good {#blank#}2{#/blank#} to have fun.

    Look! What are my friends {#blank#}3{#/blank#}? Rick and Jeff are {#blank#}4{#/blank#}volleyball. Dave and Amy are watching them. Peter is listening{#blank#}5{#/blank#}music. He likes music very much and it is his dream to be a {#blank#}6{#/blank#}. Who is swimming in the water? Oh, it is Jim. He{#blank#}7{#/blank#}very well. Some children ask him to teach{#blank#}8{#/blank#}to swim. He is happy to do that. Where are the other people? Oh, they are having a party.
