Most Australians live near the beach. In summer, going to the beach {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (be) their favourite activity. The beach is a place for family trips, for enjoying the water, taking photos or playing on the sand.

    Many families that live near the beach join surf clubs. And {#blank#}2{#/blank#} surf clubs have activities for adults and also for children. The children's group {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (call) the "Nippers" that has running races on the sand, walking races in the shallow water as well as boarding and swimming races. The members get points for every event they go in, and at the end of the summer, everyone wins and gets awards.     Australia has so many beaches and people {#blank#}5{#/blank#} go to the beach that it is necessary for them to have Life Savers on the beach. These people are good swimmers and are well trained to rush into the water to help anyone {#blank#}6{#/blank#} trouble. The Life Savers check the beach every day and mark a safe area with red and yellow coloured nags. People must swim between these flags, where the water is not moving {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (strong). The Life Savers are easy {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (see) because they wear special red and yellow coloured outfits.

    Unluckily, Australia has the highest rate of skin cancer in the world. To avoid {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (get) sunburnt (晒黑), you should keep me following in mind:

    First, wear UV protective sunglasses and a hat whenever you go out.

    Second, avoid the sun between 10 a. m. and 3 p. m. when it is at {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (it) strongest and always use sunblock (防晒霜).

    The {#blank#}8{#/blank#} （one）night in the space station was great. We had a good dinner and then watched the stars shining in the darkness. it was really wonderful. As a child, I used to dream of becoming an astronaut so that I {#blank#}9{#/blank#} travel in space. Now my dream had come {#blank#}10{#/blank#} .
