When people talk about air pollution, they usually think of smog, acid rain (酸性雨), and other forms (形式) of outdoor air pollution. But did you know that air pollution also is inside homes, offices, hotels and other buildings？Indoor air pollution is more serious. The air in your home can be 2 to 100 times (倍数) more polluted than the air outdoors！In fact, some American doctors say that 50% of illnesses have something to do with polluted indoor air. Indoor air pollution is bad for our health in many ways. Young children and the old often suffer(遭受) more from air pollution. People with health problems may also suffer more when the air is polluted. Indoor air pollution can be bad for people's eyes, nose and throat. Air pollution, both indoor and outdoor, can also lead to cancer, heart disease, and even bad for the brain！In the great London fog in 1952, 4, 000 people died in a few days because of air pollution！It is said that half a million young kids and women die each year in India because of indoor air pollution！

There're many ways to reduce (减少) indoor air pollution. Here are some of them and see if they can help you：

★Increase outdoor air coming indoors and open your windows for 15 to 30 minutes each day.

★Turn off all the lights and fans when you don't need them.

★Share your room with others when the air conditioner is running.

★Don't smoke and try to stop your family members from smoking. People who smoke are going to have trouble breathing and even die someday. If you're smart, don't ever start.

★Environment-friendly products, such as water-based paints pollute less and work well.

Do you know face changing? The amazing skill in Sichuan Opera is used {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(express) the changing feelings of characters.

There are over 300 kinds of local operas in China. Among them, Sichuan Opera is one of the oldest. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} the most important and the most interesting opera form in Southwestern China, it is popular in Sichuan, Chongqing and some areas of Yunnan and Guizhou provinces. A large number of Sichuan Opera performers are active throughout Sichuan Province, both in the countryside and in {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(city).

The opera has three special skills: changing faces, spitting(吐) fire, and rolling lights. Face changing, or "bianlian" in Chinese, is the most famous one. It is {#blank#}4{#/blank#} important intangible heritage (非物质文化遗产). Only a few artists have picked up than skill. They know how to change Sichuan Opera masks magically. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} they wave their arms and turn their heads, their painted masks change again and again.

Face changing got {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (it) start about 300 years ago. In the beginning, opera artists changed the color of their faces during performances by{#blank#}7{#/blank#} (blow) into a bowl of red, black or gold powder(粉末). The powder would stick to their oiled skin {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(quick). In another way, actors would cover their faces with colored paste hidden in their hands. By the 1920s, opera artists {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(begin) ueing layers(层) of masks made of oiled paper. They could peel one after another in the blink of an eye. At present, the artists use full-face painted silk masks which can {#blank#}10{#/blank#} ( wear) in lays.

 Cici is standing a few steps ahead - her- trainer. Her trainer says," Right." Cici makes a 90- degree turn." Forward." Cici walks toward the、 sidewalk and starts to walk down it. Cici is training to be a guide dog. Guide dogs help people who are blind or disabled.

 But, how do trainers make sure their dogs are right for the work? Jim Alloway is a leader of Pilot- Dogs in Columbus. Before starting to train the puppies(小狗), he and his team test qualities that trainers can't teach. In one test, trainers drop a box on the floor near the puppies. Do they ignore(忽视) the noise? Do they run away? Do they jump, and then look around? Puppies that ignore the noise or run away are not considered good choices. Other tests answer questions like: Is the dog confident? Is the dog safe for their owners? Is the dog happy as a guide dog? More than half of all dogs tested fail. They end up doing some other service work or become family pets.

 Once a puppy passes the tests, trainers begin teaching the dog basic commands(命令) like" come" and" sit". It is not easy. Puppies are still babies. They don't always follow the rules. It takes months of patient practice to teach a puppy to obey a command. Trainers usually motivate dogs in a positive way. When the dog does something correctly, it gets a treat(奖励).

 As the puppies get older, they practice in an indoor facility that has stairs to climb and obstacles(障碍) to go around. After that, trainers add distractions(干扰). They throw toys and make loud noises. This trains the dogs to notice the distractions, and then ignore them if they are not dangerous.

 After practicing inside, trainers take the dogs outside. They learn how to cross streets safely and how to get onto buses. They learn to keep away from common dangers, like steps on the ground, and running cars.

 It can take up to two years for a puppy to become a guide dog. But once it starts to work, it will be the best helpers for its human partners.

 Look at the map of our school. This is the music hall, just next to the science building. The music hall is a yellow building with two floors. We often listen to music in it. Sometimes, we have music lessons in it, too. The science building is vellow, too. A small shop is between the science building and the teachers' building. We can buy many kinds of school things in it. The teachers' building is white. Our teachers often correct(批改) our homework or prepare (准备) lessons in it. In front of the teachers' building is the school hall. It's new and nice. We often have parties or speeches(演讲) in it. There is a large sports field in our school. All the students go there and do exercises together in the morning. The classroom building is between the school hall and the sports field. We spend most of the time in our classroom. It's big and clean.

I love my school. It's a beautiful place and I can learn a lot in it.

 Second, prioritize(把······区分优先次序) your plans. Start with the most important or difficult ones, and then move on to the easier ones. This way, you can work out the biggest things first and feel pleased with what you have completed.

 Lastly, don't let other things get in your way. Focus(专注) on one thing at a time, and try not to get distracted(分心) by TV, games, or the Internet. By staying focused, you can complete things more quickly and better.

You may not be surprised to see one or two twins (双胞胎) at school. But {#blank#}1{#/blank#}about a lot of twins? 

They start primary school in Inverclyde in Scotland {#blank#}2{#/blank#} August. It is known for its large number of twins. In 2015, there were nineteen {#blank#}3{#/blank#} of twins starting primary school there. On the first day of school every year, there is a tradition (传统) in Inverclyde to welcome twins. They {#blank#}4{#/blank#}a group photo at school. They also meet many {#blank#}5{#/blank#}twin friends and play soccer together.
