Why don't you sign up to the website Swap (交换) Shop? You can swap something you don't want for something you do want - and you don't need to pay for anything! Here are some ideas from our members.

I've had the necklace for two years but I don't like it anymore. I've only worn it three times! I want to swap it for a poster. I'd like a poster of Buffy, from the TV program. I haven't swapped things before, but I think I will now! It's better than spending money at the shopping mall.

I want a new mobile phone. Mine's quite old. I've saved some money, but it's not enough. A department store near my home sells cheap ones, but I don't have much choice. So I've decided to try and swap mine for a different one on the Swap Shop. It's a great idea!

I hate shopping! I love the idea of the Swap Shop and I'd like a skateboard (滑板). I've got a tennis racquet (球拍) I want to swap. I've had it since last year and it's too small. I went to the sports shop to try and change it, but they said it was too old. So I'm going to try the Swap Shop. The best thing is that it doesn't cost anything!

I buy a lot of computer games, but they really cost a lot. The problem is that I've played them all too many times already. I heard about the Swap Shop and swapped one of my games. I was really happy and I've made a new friend-the boy I swapped my game with! Now I want to swap more because I'm bored with my old games.

Christopher Langan

Born in San Francisco in 1952, Christopher Langan is a special kind of genius. By the time he was four, he'd already taught himself how to read. At high school, he taught himself math, physics, Latin and Greek. It was reported that his IQ should be between 195 and 210.

Judit Polgdr

Born in Budapest, Hungary in 1976, Judit Polgar is called as without doubt the best woman chess player in history. Polgar was a chess-playing genius and she first defeated(打败) an international master, Dolfi Drimer when she was just 10. It was reported that her IQ should be 170.

Mislav Predavec

Mislav Predavec is a math professor with a reported IQ of 190. Predavec was born in Zagreb in 1967, and his great abilities were obvious from a young age. He runs a trading company Preminis.

Paul Allen

Allen has an IQ of between 160 and 170. He was born in 1953 in Seattle and made friends with Bill Gates while still at school. He attended Washington State University but gave up his study in 1974 and then talked(劝说) Gates into leaving Harvard. The following year, the pair founded Microsoft in New Mexico.
