Usually, after an exciting World Cup match, the stands(看台){#blank#}1{#/blank#}(leave) with food waste and bottles. Japanese fans{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(certain) had a reason to get excited on the night of June 19th. Their team won their opening games {#blank#}3{#/blank#}Colombia. After the match, Japanese fans cleaned up{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(they) seats on the stands. They picked up rubbish and then put it into large rubbish bags they brought. Finally, they left the place just as{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(clean) as it was before.

"It's part of Japanese culture," Japanese football reporter Scott Melntyre told the BBC. He followed the team to Russia and he wasn't {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(surprise)at what the Japanese did at all. "You often hear people say {#blank#}7{#/blank#} football can reflect (反映) culture.The important part of Japanese culture is making sure that everything is clean. It always surprises foreigners to attend matches in Japan. When they leave a bottle on the ground, the Japanese may ask them{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(pick) it up or take it home. It's a habit that the Japanese {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(keep) since their early age."
