The American think a lot about time. They learn {#blank#}1{#/blank#}time. As children , they are {#blank#}2{#/blank#}to be on time to go to school , to do work and to do everything by their parents. When they are having a good time , they say that time is {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. If a person is dying, then he is living on borrowed time.

    Time is both money {#blank#}4{#/blank#}knowledge. Time is everything in America. A working American has to work hard for eight{#blank#}5{#/blank#} a day. This is working time. In his free time, he also works hard for {#blank#}6{#/blank#}money. Even Saturday and Sunday are filled {#blank#}7{#/blank#}activities. In the street you can hardly see a man {#blank#}8{#/blank#}walks slowly. They walk very fast. In fact, they are running. They love time {#blank#}9{#/blank#} time brings them money, comforts and progress. {#blank#}10{#/blank#} sometimes they also hate time, for they have become servants of the clock.

    My friend, James, has a dream that one day he can have a trip to the universe {#blank#}1{#/blank#} he wants to know what the space is like. He is a cook. He likes {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(Italy)food very much, so he has already  {#blank#}3{#/blank#} to Italy to study. Now, he is very good at  {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(cook)and becomes an excellent cook. He will enter a {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(compete)this year, and it will {#blank#}6{#/blank#}him ￡2. If he  {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (win), his dram will come true because the first prize is a trip {#blank#}8{#/blank#} the space and he will stay in an environment with  {#blank#}9{#/blank#} air. James thinks it must be an  {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (amaze)experience.

    On {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Saturday, my mother and I went to the Fairy Lake Park to take some photos. We drove a car to a nice place near the mountains. We left in the morning before {#blank#}2{#/blank#} Sun got too hot. After about half {#blank#}3{#/blank#} hour, we came to {#blank#}4{#/blank#} nice place. It was near a lake, with some large trees beside it. We took some interesting photos of the mountains and the lake as well as some beautiful birds. My mother is {#blank#}5{#/blank#} good photographer(摄影师). Taking pictures is one of her hobbies. In {#blank#}6{#/blank#} afternoon, we went to {#blank#}7{#/blank#} good concert at the City Hall. The violinist there is famous all over {#blank#}8{#/blank#}world. We were really excited and it was {#blank#}9{#/blank#} great fun to take photos with the violinist, for he was {#blank#}10{#/blank#} interesting and humorous musician.
