    Last weekend,after pay a visit to the city of New York,I visited the Smithsonian Institutions National Air and Space Museum,where lies in Washington,D.C.

    The museum,which covers a area of 18,000 square meters,is made of 24 exhibition halls.All kinds of planes, rockets,missiles and spaceship of great importance and variously old instruments that famous pilots and astronauts used are on display.In addition,I see copies of some satellites and aircraft.More interestingly,I tried operating on some aircraft by myself.During the visit,I took lots of pictures as well.

    This brief visit helped myself learn much about the history of human's space exploration.It made me more interesting in science and technology.

    It has been a long time since I did anything good for the environment. Feeling responsible to protect the environment, I decided to take the action again. I told my idea to my friends and we planned to plant tree on the hill in the countryside. We came to the foot of the hill and selected a place where looked suitably and settled down. We spend a few hours digging holes and placing the young seedlings. Then we wrote our wishes on cards one to one and buried it deep down the roots of the trees. We also took a lot of pictures. We were such busy that we didn't realize that it was time to go back. I felt really glad that we made difference to the environment.

    I usually go to school by bike. And this morning I went on foot. On the way to school, I happen to witness an accident. A middle-aged woman was knocked down by a car while crosses the street. Seeing that was happening on the scene, I made rush for the woman to help. One passer-by got out of his cellphone and called the police. I helped carry the woman to safe and dress her wound.     One year ago, I was in great trouble. I worked hard at English and devote all my spare time to practise it. But I failed to pass the mid-term examination, which made me great disappointed.     I like travelling and my dream of visiting Beijing, the capital city of our country, come true during the National Day holidays this year. My mother booked an one-day tour for me. On the morning of October 1st I went to Tian'anmen Square with one of my classmates, there we watched the flag-raising ceremony. As I watched the flag rising slowly, I sang the national anthem, feeling extreme proud. Several hours later, a grand military parade was held mark the People's Republic of China's 70th founding anniversary. In the afternoon we decided to go to other famous tourist attraction, like the Great Wall. When we reached the destination, it was crowded with tourists. I was glad for which those volunteers had done for little kids and elderly people. Standing on the Great wall, we couldn't help admire the splendid scenery. This travelling, with doubt, meant a lot of to me.
