    It is known that some students cheat in exams. There are three reason. First of all, there are so many exams. Beside, the exams given are difficulty in some ways.     The teenage year from 13 to 19 were the most difficult time for me. They were also the best and worse years in my life. At the first, I thought I knew everything and could make decisions by yourself. However, my parents didn't seem to think such. They always tell me what to do and how to do it. At one time, I even felt my parents couldn't understand me so I hoped I could be freely from them. I showed them I was independent by wear strange clothes. Now I am leaving home to college.     Nowadays in China, either in the morning nor after dinner ,people, especial elderly women, will gather in squares to dance to popular music. More and more young people are also participating the square dance now.

    There are many reasons for their popularity. First of all, China has made a great progress in the social and economic development in the past decades, and people had more time and energy to enjoy their lives. Besides, do the square dance is a good way for people to get fit.

    I'm proud to tell you the news you heard from is true. As is proved, some UK primary schools will use 36 math textbook, exercise books, and teachers' guides publishing by the Shanghai Century Publishing (SCP). The textbooks will be used in both Shanghai or the UK at the same time. It is the first time that a developed country has been adopted Chinese textbooks in such systematic and large-scale way. The textbooks had been listed as a sample by the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics of the UK. British publisher Harper Collins, the UK publisher of the textbooks, will be responsibly for the promotion of the schoolbooks, it has been permitted by SCP. We should, without doubt, take pride in yourselves.

Ladies and gentlemen,

    It's my honor to give a speech here. After-school activities play a important part in our school life. Proper activities help enrich our lives, broaden our horizons or develop our personalities. 

    Mine own experience can serve as a case in point. When I was in Senior One, I become a member of our drama club, that I used to visit on weekends. Since my participation in various activities organizing by the club, I achieved a lot. 

    These activities bring me a lot of funs, provide me with good opportunities to develop new friendships and open a window through which I have a brand-new outlook. With so much advantages shown above, why not to join us at once?

One afternoon, I didn't leave a classroom after school. I didn't know why. I just couldn't be happy. I felt such awful that I couldn't help sobbing. I thought no one would notice myself. Then, my English teacher came in but comforted me gently. "Try to be positive every day. Learning to relax and smile," she said. These words like a powerful hand, which lifted me from the bottom of the ocean. They were brightly and friendly. With her encouraged words in my mind, I tried to calm down. Finally, I overcome my unhappiness and returned back to my daily life.
