When one door of happiness closes, another opens. However, we often look at the 1 door so long that we can't see the one that has been opened for us. It's true that we don't know 2 we've got until we lose it, and it's also true that we don't know what we've been 3 until it goes away.

    Giving someone all your 4 doesn't mean that they'll love you back. Don't expect love in return. Just 5 for it to grow in their hearts.

    There are many moments in life when you miss someone so much that you want to bring them into your 6 and hug them for real! Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, and 7 what you want to be, 8 you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.

    Happiness lies in those who have cried, those who have been hurt, those who have searched, and those who have tried, for only they can understand the 9 of their lives. The 10 future will always be based on a forgotten past. You can't go on well in your life until you let your past failure and heartaches go.

Question 1: How did you become a National Geographic photographer?

My first job was for a newspaper. After a few years there, I met a National Geographic photographer. He liked my photos and said I should send some to the magazine. So I did. That led to a one—day job. And that led to a nine—day job, and so on.

To get into National Geographic, you have to give them something they don't have. It's not enough just to be a great photographer. You also have to be a scientist, for example, or be able to dive under sea ice, or spend maybe several days in a tree. 

Question 3: Is it hard to get a job as a photographer today?

It's now harder to work for magazines. Technology makes it easy to take good pictures, which means there are more photos and photographers. Also, the Web is filled with photos from all around the world that are free, or cost very little. These photos are often good enough to be put in books and magazines. What the magazines need to do these days is to pay for these photos. 

Question 4: I want to be a photographer. Do you have any advice for me?

Advice? Well, work hard. Be passionate (热情的)about every project you work on. Take lots of pictures in different situations. Look at others' photos thoughtfully and learn from them. And be curious about everything. There's something to photograph everywhere.

Guochao got people's attention in 2018.Before that，the market was controlled by foreign companies.There were few Chinese brands.To win the market share，many Chinese brands followed the footsteps of these Western brands.In 2018，but also included elements（元素） of traditional Chinese culture.It quickly caught people's attention at home and abroad.And it created amazing sales.

Later，many Chinese brands，from food，started to add Chinese culture into their products.Even the film and music industries made every effort to create Chinese styles."We want our products to be the ones that young people would like to share."They said.

These brands got what they wanted.Young people gradually converted their attention from Western culture to guochao.They accepted it with pleasure.What's more，they started to develop interest in traditional Chinese art and literature.Now they wear traditional clothes，practice Chinese calligraphy（书法）

No matter how guochao develops，there is one thing that won't change——people's confidence in our country's development and culture is growing.

Rock climbing（攀岩） did not become a sport until late in the 1900s. But now it has become a popular outdoor activity. While rock climbing may still be necessary for mountain climbing，most people just climb low mountains for fun. 

If you have ever done rock climbing，you will know that it is not a very easy sport. Indoor and outdoor rock climbing both need practice. What most people don't know is that rock climbing is one of the sports that depend on your body and mind（意志）. 

To climb successfully，one must use wonderful skills. One of the important rules is to always have three parts of your body on the rock face. Another important rule is that your arms only hold you close to the rock face while your legs are pushing you up，the closer you are to the rock face，the easier it is to climb. 

Rock climbing is a wonderful sport. Once you start to learn how to climb，you'll find more fun. People who like games such as chess playing or problem—solving may love rock climbing，because they are nearly the same in the way of thinking. For anyone who wants to get into beautiful shape，rock climbing is a fun and good way. Anyone who enjoys a difficult game and loves the outdoors should think of taking rock climbing as a new hobby.
