The class in America is almost the same as that in China. But something is different. If you want to go there for study, it's {#blank#}1{#/blank#}（值得） spending a few minutes reading the following American classroom customs.

    ⒈In America, if the teacher asks you a question but you don't understand, you should put up your hand and ask the teacher to {#blank#}2{#/blank#}（重复）it. If you don't know the answer, it is all right to tell the teacher that you don't know {#blank#}3{#/blank#}（直接地）. Then he or she knows what you need to learn.

    ⒉You mustn't be {#blank#}4{#/blank#}（缺席） on a test day. If you're seriously ill, call and let the teacher know you will not be there for the test. If your teacher allows make-up test, you should take the test in one or two days after you go back to school. There's no reason for missing a test {#blank#}5{#/blank#}（除了） serious illnesses.

    ⒊Be on time! Students in America are {#blank#}6{#/blank#}（很少） late. If you come in late, be sure to do it quietly. Take your {#blank#}7{#/blank#}（课本） out of your bag after you {#blank#}8{#/blank#}（进入） the classroom. Then go to your seat and sit down quietly. In the US, you don't need to{#blank#}9{#/blank#}（敲） before you come into the classroom.

    ⒋If you have to leave during the class, do it quietly, too. There is no need to ask for the teacher's {#blank#}10{#/blank#}（同意）.
