The largest dinosaur on the Earth— Seismosaurus (地震龙).

People found the fossil (化石)of Seismosaurus in New Mexico of America in 1979. It lived 145-155 million years ago. It was about 90-120 feet long. It weighed 25 to 50 tons. It had a long neck and a long tail. It was so heavy that it had to walk slowly. Seismosaurus ate plants. It needed to eat lots of plants every day to provide energy for its large body. Because its mouth was very small, it had to spend as many as 23 hours eating every day.

The world? s most unusual fish ——Sea horse

Sea horses live in warm ocean waters all over the world. Because the top half of this fish looks like a small horse, people called it "sea horse". Looking at the sea horse's tail, you might think "sea monkey" is a better name. Its eyes are very special. When one eye looks ahead, the other can look back at the same time. It isn't good at swimming, so it swims slowly. But it is the only fish that can swim straightly. Sea horses feed on live food, such as small shrimps (虾). 举一反三
For hundreds Of years, scientists have been trying to answer what things have an effect on people's emotions (情感). How you feel is controlled by many things. Your emotions can be affected by your personality, by the actions of others and by events around you. Perhaps you don't know your emotions can be influenced by the weather as well.
People often say they feel good when the sun is shining and sad when it is cloudy. In fact, sunlight makes us feel good. When sunlight hits our skins, our bodies produce a vitamin. Vitamins are natural chemicals (化学物质) which we all need to stay healthy. Sunlight helps our bodies produce vitamin D. Vitamin D helps our bodies make a special chemical. This special chemical affects our brains (大脑) and makes us feel happy. For example, there are long, dark winters of little sunlight in Sweden and Norway, so many people in these countries often feel sad. Without much sunlight, their bodies produce less vitamin D. Without enough vitamin D, their bodies make less of this special chemical which makes them feel good. To help the people in these countries feel better, special “sunrooms” with artificial (人造的) lights have been built. People can go there and get “sunlight” for an hour or two!
The weather can also affect people's emotions in other ways. Hot weather can make people angry because people feel uncomfortable when they are hot. In the same way, rain can make people angry because being wet can be unpleasant. As you can see, the weather can have an effect on the chemicals which control our brains. Through these ways, the weather can influence our emotions. Sadly, while the weather can change us, we can hardly change the weather.

Never go into a supermarket hungry! This is a good piece of advice. If you go shopping for food before lunchtime, you'll probably buy more than you plan to. Unfortunately, however, just this advice isn't enough for shoppers these days. Modern shoppers need an education in how and how not to buy things at the store. First, you check the weekly newspaper ads. Find out the items that are on sale and decide if you really need these things. In other words, don't buy anything just because it's cheaper than usual! Second, never let "New and Improved!" or "All Natural”on the front of a package influence you. Instead, read the list of contents on the back. Third, compare prices: that is, you should examine the prices of both different brands(品牌)and different sizes of the same brand.
Another suggestion for shoppers is to buy ordinary items instead of famous brands. Ordinary items in supermarkets come in plain packages. These products are cheaper because producers don't spend much money on packing or advertising. However, they are still of high quality. In the same way, in buying clothes, you can often find high quality and low prices in brands that are not famous. Shopping in discount clothing stores can help you save a lot of money. Although these stores aren't very attractive, and they usually do not have individual dressing rooms, not only are the prices low, but you can often find the same famous brands that you find in high-priced department stores.
Wise shoppers read magazine ads and watch TV commercials(商业广告),but they do this with one advantage: knowledge of the psychology behind the ads. In other words, will-informed shoppers watch for information and check for misinformation. They ask themselves questions: Is the advertiser hiding something in small print at the bottom of the page? Is there any real information in the commercial, or is the advertiser simply showing an attractive image? With the answers to these questions, shoppers can make a wise choice.

This week is Computer Science Education Week. During the week, students around the world will be taking part in an "Hour of Code" and learning a little about programming computers. This year, there will be more than 200.000 events in over 180 countries.

The U.S. Congress first created Computer Science Education Week in 2009 to remember Grace Hopper, one of the women who played an important part in the early days of computers.

Hadi Partovi came up with the idea of the Hour of Code. He thinks coding is an important skill and that it's important for schools to teach computer science. He started the Hour of Code in 2013 because he was worried that computer science was not a big part of what schools taught in most states.

To spread his idea, he got the help from many famous people. Some were famous for working with computers, like Bill Gates. Others were famous in other areas. Mr. Partovi got a lot of money for his idea from big companies like Facebook. Google, and Microsoft.

Students who take part in the Hour of Code complete a short coding challenge that is broken down into small, simple steps. The challenge is supposed to take about an hour in all.

To raise the interest of students, the challenges are often tied in with popular movies or games. For example, challenges have been built around Angry Birds. Mine Craft. Frozen. and Star Wars—One test of the program's success is whether students keep going once the time is up. It turns out that many of them do. Last year, teachers reported that 92% of their students coded for more than an hour.
