Bullying (欺凌) is doing things to hurt other people. It is a serious problem at school.

Miah—now a 22-year-old girl, still {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (remember) how she was bullied in junior high school. "They kicked me, put sticks in my hair and took money from me. Even worse, I {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (make) to eat rubbish. I {#blank#}3{#/blank#}never {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (forget) those moments. "

     Miah is not the only case. I saw another bullying situation when I was a student. Some students bullied a handicapped (智力低下的)  girl every day —hitting, pushing, and kicking her. They just enjoyed {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (do) it. The girl didn't realize that people {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (hurt) her. She couldn't even tell the teacher. The situation lasted for a long time.

    Bullying at school is getting worse, so, many people {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (try) to start anti—bullying(反欺凌) programs. Students in many schools have already taken actions. They {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (create) anti—bullying clubs. Many students have joined the clubs. They work with teachers to show students how to stop bullying. Some other programs have proved to be successful, too.

    In Wales, two girls came up with an idea to stop bullying on the school bus. They created a bus pass (乘车证) and made four rules for students: no bullying, no swearing(骂脏话), no smoking and no shouting. Whenever a student broke a rule, he would get a mark on his pass. When a student had four marks, he wouldn't be allowed to take the bus anymore. The bus pass idea worked. It {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (stop) bullying on the bus.

In Michigan, some students tried to stop bullying with friendship. They made DVDs. They gave the DVDs to students in their school {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (teach) them how to be good friends. This idea worked, too. After that, there was less bullying at their school.

    School programs like these {#blank#}11{#/blank#} (help) bullies learn to behave properly and they can also help prevent school bullying. I think it will come to a stop if everyone does something.

    I have a friend who lives alone， {#blank#}4{#/blank#} her parents live in another city. One day I went to see her. We {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(have) a talk. Then she wanted to make a call. So she dialed the number， but then she {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(put) down the phone. After about fifteen seconds， she dialed the number again， “Hi， Mom.”

    Later I asked， “Why did you dial the number {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(two)?” She smiled， “My parents are old and unhealthy. They can't get close to telephone {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(quick). I always do so when I call them. I just want to give them enough time{#blank#}9{#/blank#} answer the call.”

    My friend is a good girl. She is always thinking about her parents. You also want to be a good child， right? So why not learn{#blank#}10{#/blank#} her.

    Puerto La Cruz is not a big city but it{#blank#}1{#/blank#} very special. There are fifteen beaches there. Did{#blank#}2{#/blank#} go there? I did.

    On July 16th, my friends and I visited Vallecito Beach. Because it's not far from the city center, we{#blank#}3{#/blank#}to take the bus. But there were too many people, and we {#blank#}4{#/blank#}over thirty minutes for the bus.

    Vallecito Beach is a(n){#blank#}5{#/blank#} place. We had a good time there. And there is a(n){#blank#}6{#/blank#}near the beach. We climbed the hill then. After that, we felt{#blank#}7{#/blank#} so I cooked fish by{#blank#}8{#/blank#}. All my friends said the fish was very delicious!

    Many people like taking a trip with no plans. They think it is very exciting and has more fun. But in {#blank#}1{#/blank#}, it is not so good. Making vacation plans is very important.

    {#blank#}2{#/blank#}, a vacation plan can make sure that everything goes well. If you {#blank#}3{#/blank#} a place but you don't book(预订) a hotel, you may have no place to stay at night.

    Second, you have many things to take with you for a vacation. You need to plan {#blank#}4{#/blank#} to buy and make sure that you put all the necessary things in bags. For example, when you arrive at the airport, you find that you {#blank#}5{#/blank#} to bring your plane ticket! You may be late for the plane.

    Third, making a vacation plan can help you save a lot of money. Nobody wants to spend {#blank#}6{#/blank#} money than they want to. You may find some {#blank#}7{#/blank#} plane tickets and hotel rooms online.
