Sharks have been around for a very long time. It means that they have been on earth for thousands of years, and have changed little. A shark is a fish, but it has many {#blank#}1{#/blank#} from a fish. For example, if a shark {#blank#}2{#/blank#} swimming, it will sink(下沉).

    There are {#blank#}3{#/blank#} 200 and 250 kinds of sharks in different size. The largest can be {#blank#}4{#/blank#} long as 15 meters. Sharks feed on fish, {#blank#}5{#/blank#} sea animals, or smaller sharks. It is said that one of the most {#blank#}6{#/blank#} sharks is the Great White Shark. They have attacked(攻击) a number of people off the beaches of America. Australia, New Zealand and South Africa also have shark 0attacks. In some places there {#blank#}7{#/blank#}watchtowers on the beach to warn people about sharks in the water. {#blank#}8{#/blank#} a shark appears, a bell rings to tell people to get out of the water. Shark attack about 100 people a year in America. Perhaps the shark {#blank#}9{#/blank#}thinks that the people is a kind of sea animal, or {#blank#}10{#/blank#} good to eat.

    Darning likes sports a lot, so he pays attention to sports stars. Deng Yaping and Liu Xiang are his heroes. Deng Yaping is one of the best ping-pong players in the world. At the {#blank#}1{#/blank#}, she was a ping-

pong player. Later, she {#blank#}2{#/blank#} Tsinghan University and then went to study {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. She says she is not {#blank#}4{#/blank#} than anyone else , but she has a very strong will(意志). She also helped make the Beijing Olympics a victory {#blank#}5{#/blank#} world sport. She is a true here. Another hero is Liu Xiang. The Chinese take {#blank#}6{#/blank#} pride in him. When he was a child, he was not very successful, but his {#blank#}7{#/blank#} noticed his ability in running and jumping and helped him change {#blank#}8{#/blank#} training methods. He won a {#blank#}9{#/blank#} of important races and became the {#blank#}10{#/blank#} sportsperson to win an Olympic gold medal for hurdling(跨栏). They are symbols of great courage and success.

You might have used them to build some small-sized objects, but an artist called Nathan Sawaya has used Lego bricks to create life-size art. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} it began in 2007, Nathan's exhibition "The Art of the Brick" has been very popular with museum visitors everywhere.

    Nathan Sawaya's "The Art of the Brick" exhibition was on display in New York City. The show included more than 100 sculptures(雕塑)built by Nathan. The ideas of all his works were from {#blank#}3{#/blank#} , art and everyday objects. A life-size bike? A 20-foot-long dinosaur skeleton? Believe it or not, they were all made of Lego pieces! Visitors were very {#blank#}4{#/blank#} to see them!
