　　Years ago you came to me for help. You said, "Grandpa, how could you do so {#blank#}1{#/blank#} in your life? You're still active to your life, but I'm already tired of {#blank#}2{#/blank#} for my life. How can I get the same thing that you've got?"
　　I didn't know what to say to you. But when I know there are few days left for me, I tell {#blank#}3{#/blank#} that I should give you an answer. So here is what I believe.
First, you should know that life is filled(充满) with{#blank#}4{#/blank#} , and many of them are good ones. If you don't keep your eyes {#blank#}5{#/blank#} , you'll miss a number of good surprises in your life.　　
　　When you meet challenges, don't run away, just welcome them. They'll make you stronger, {#blank#}6{#/blank#} and cleverer than you were before. When you do something wrong, you should be thankful for the things it gave you. And then, you should use this lesson to help you {#blank#}7{#/blank#} your dream come true. It's also important to decide what you want. Then keep your dream , work hard for it, and be ready to receive it. It will come true more quickly.
　　And always follow the rules, even the little ones. When you follow the rules, life will work well. {#blank#}8{#/blank#} you think you can live without the rules, you're only fooling(愚弄) yourself.
　　There will be more chances {#blank#}9{#/blank#} you are growing up. So you have to be brave enough to move from a known place to an unknown place. Life isn't just like climbing one mountain. It is also a part of your life to move {#blank#}10{#/blank#} one top to the next. If you rest for a too long time, you may fail at last. Leave the past in the past. Climb the next mountain and enjoy the fight in your life.

     I am Jackie Lee, an {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(America) Chinese. Let me tell you about my {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (grandfather) life story.

    My grandfather was born in 1932 and {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(grow) up in a poor village in Fujian, China. At the age of 14, he first heard of America. It {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (say) to be the land of gold and poor people could {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(easy) become rich there.    So, my grandfather came to America. "I had thought it was easy to make money in America," he told me. "But when I {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (arrive) in Los Angeles, I realized it was not true. I couldn't find a good job because  I spoke little English. I wanted {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (go) to a language school to learn English, but I couldn't afford it. Later, I worked in a small restaurant ,{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(serve) the guests, cleaning up the tables, washing the dishes and sweeping the floors. I was such a helpful and honest worker {#blank#}9{#/blank#} my boss was pleased with me. I was popular with my workmates, too. Life became easier and in the end I entered an evening school to learn English."

      My grandfather kept working hard , and finally made {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (he) dream come true. Things do not come easily in life. That is what I have learned from my grandfather.

    It's hard to find a true friend . For most of the time , you may think you can believe（相信）someone , later he may let you down（失望）.

    When you have some difficult times , a true friend will always be there for you . Through good times or{#blank#}1{#/blank#} times , they will try to help you and make you laugh . They will understand you{#blank#}2{#/blank#} you did something wrong . A friend will bring new and exciting things to your life and make your life more interesting .

    True friends will keep your secrets（秘密）and they believe you can also keep{#blank#}3{#/blank#} secrets . When you talk to a true friend , you don't have to worry{#blank#}4{#/blank#} what you may say . You can enjoy this freedom（自由）only with friends .

    However , Friendship is like a two-way street . To find a true friend , you may do the{#blank#}5{#/blank#} thing as your friend does , too . Help your friends when they have problems and share the good things{#blank#}6{#/blank#} them . Give them the same things they give to you . Sometimes friendship breaks very quickly if only one person is giving and trying to keep it .

    There is an old{#blank#}7{#/blank#} , “ Friendship makes the hearts of all the world together ” . You will{#blank#}8{#/blank#} that there is nothing better than having a true friend by your side to share life with .

    I have twin brothers， Tim and Tom. They look the {#blank#}1{#/blank#} and a lot of people don't know which is which. They{#blank#}2{#/blank#}have brown hair and blue eyes， and they always  {#blank#}3{#/blank#}the same jeans and T-shirts.

    They like wearing the same things， and they like doing the same things， {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. For example， they both like pop music， soccer and computers. They like{#blank#}5{#/blank#}soccer matches on TV every weekend. They'd like to play computer games every night， but our mother says they can't{#blank#}6{#/blank#}they have a lot of homework to do.

    They are twins， but there are some differences {#blank#}7{#/blank#}them. Tim {#blank#}8{#/blank#}hard at school， but Tom doesn't.

    Our mother is often away from home because she travels a{#blank#}9{#/blank#} in her job， so I{#blank#}10{#/blank#} to take care of my twin brothers in house. But I think it's fun to have twin brothers.

    Wang Feng is one of the most famous rock stars in China. I love his music even though I can speak very {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Chinese. Of course, I look{#blank#}2{#/blank#} the English translations of his songs on the website so I can understand their meanings.

    Wang Feng was {#blank#}3{#/blank#} in a musical family on June 29, 1971 in Beijing. He started playing the violin when he is five. In 1994, he built up the band No.43 BaojiaStreet. Unluckily,the band finally {#blank#}4{#/blank#} up and Wang Feng started his solo career(独唱生涯).

    Wang Feng writes his own songs. He once wrote a beautiful song {#blank#}5{#/blank#} OurDreamforBeijingOlympics in 2008. In this song he described how happy the Chinese people felt to {#blank#}6{#/blank#} the Olympics.
