Global Crossroad is mainly connected with several Chinese public schools. And most of them are in the countryside. Non-native English speakers are also invited to join this project.

    With the growth of the country's economy, the demand for English education in China is growing. As China continues to be a global business country, the importance of English education is increasing as well. Many public schools in China have an "English Comer", which is a place of the classroom designed (设计) and set aside for teaching and learning English. These schools are in need of international teachers to teach English.

    On Christmas Eve─the night before Christmas Day─children all over Britain put a stocking at the end of their beds before they go to sleep. Their parents usually tell them that Father Christmas will come during the night.

They can build a snow house, they make holes(洞) in the ice and catch fish and seals(海豹). They eat much meat but not many vegetables.

    Xi'an celebrates the first-ever China Hanfu Day on April 18. There were catwalk shows and traditional music concerts held by people wearing traditional Chinese clothing. Hanfu fans from all over China gathered there to take photos and put them online for a Hanfu photo competition, which lasted until May 18.

    The national holiday is on the third day of the third month of the Chinese lunar calendar as China Hanfu Day, which is said to be the birthday of the Yellow Emperor (黄帝). In ancient China, this day was also known as Shangsi Festival (上巳节).
