The beach is a good place for a vacation. I {#blank#}1{#/blank#}my last summer vacation with my friends there. The weather was hot and {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. We went swimming in the sea (海洋）and  {#blank#}3{#/blank#} beach volleyball on the beach. When we {#blank#}4{#/blank#}tired, we lay(躺）on the beach and  {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. I {#blank#}6{#/blank#} many photos of the beach. Some of them are very beautiful. There is a {#blank#}7{#/blank#} near the beach. I spent one day {#blank#}8{#/blank#} it. I saw many old things about the sea in it. There are also some shops near the beach. We could buy all kinds of{#blank#}9{#/blank#} food in the shops. We {#blank#}10{#/blank#}had great fun on the beach. And we want to spend our next vacation there, too.

    Yesterday I heard from a friend. In his letter, he said,“I'm planning a housewarming party and I've already started making {#blank#}1{#/blank#} for it. It will start at 2 pm next Tuesday and last(持续) {#blank#}2{#/blank#} 9 pm. I hope you can come if possible.I am {#blank#}3{#/blank#} your coming.” But I am busy preparing for an important meeting these days. I have to turn it down. So I {#blank#}4{#/blank#} in writing to the invitation like this, “I'm glad that you invited me. It's such a big event that I don't want to miss(错过) it. But I really have an important meeting that day, so I won't be {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. I'm very sorry. I'll visit you another time.”

    I have three good friends, Jill, Anna and Rick. I get on well {#blank#}1{#/blank#} them. We live in a small village. There is no middle {#blank#}2{#/blank#}in the village. So we have to go to school in a town. The town school is far from our village, {#blank#}3{#/blank#} 30 kilometers. It's very difficult for us to {#blank#}4{#/blank#} or ride to school.     This is a true story. Debbie and her husband, Billy, had an {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (argue) about another woman—his mother. "You two haven't had dinner together for so long," Debbie said.
