How many {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (time) have we put off our dreams until tomorrow? I'd say, too many. Our dreams should not, and cannot wait. We have to go for them now! Here are the reasons.

Tomorrow is not promised. Nobody likes to talk about{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(dead), but the reality—everyone is going to die at one point, but none of {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (we) know the day, or the hour. Therefore, today is all we have. Don't go to your grave {#blank#}6{#/blank#} unfinished dreams. Make the{#blank#}7{#/blank#} (decide) to go after every dream, big or small right now.

    You'll be much happier if you go for it. Imagine how much happier you'll be {#blank#}8{#/blank#}you're living the life you always dreamed about. The only thing that is stopping you{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(be) yourself. Take control of your own happiness. Don't keep your dreams {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (wait). Go after them right now!

    I don't very often have a full day off work. Today I did. I had a leisurely morning, going to the gym, {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(walk) the dog, feeding my friend's cat, and thought I would hurry into the office at Job number 2, to fill in my time sheet so I would {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (pay) for the hours I have worked. I was thinking that I had worked less hours because the lady I share job with was working instead {#blank#}3{#/blank#} me. I prayed then, that somehow we would have {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (much) money coming in this month and imagined money coming in to my bank account.

    I arrived at the office to see the main secretary looking very pale. She asked what my afternoon {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (plan) were, when I said I had the afternoon free she asked me {#blank#}6{#/blank#} I could work for her, as she had really hurt her back. I was really looking forward to a day off, but she looked in such pain that I said yes straight away. She did a quick handover of what{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(be) urgent and needed to be done.

    I raced home and got {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(change) into work appropriate clothes and took over. Our boss phoned and thanked me for steeping in so that everything went {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(smooth). Thee unwell person went home, and I got four hours extra pay. It's amazing how {#blank#}10{#/blank#}universe works.

Rose: I've just received a phone call saying I have an interview next week.

Alan: Congratulations! This is your first interview ever, isn't it?

Rose: Thank you! Yes. I'm quite {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (delight) that I've got the chance, but I'm very nervous at the same time. I'm eager {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (know) what I should do before an interview.

Alan: You should prepare well {#blank#}3{#/blank#}as to give proper responses during the interview.

Rose: Yeah, apart from my personal introduction, what else should I prepare?

    Traditionally, people climb mountains, drink chrysanthemum (菊花) wine, and eat double-ninth cakes. Since cake in Chinese is pronounced "gao" meaning"high", people consider climbing a high mountain to be the same as eating cake in the hope of {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (promote) to high positions. And people often think that chrysanthemum wine can get rid of all kinds of diseases and {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(disaster).

    Today many activities are held {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(show) respect for the seniors like organizing a trip for them, sending them gifts and more on the day of the festival.
