    Suppose you find a bright yellow bike on a street corner in the city. You hop on(跨上)it and r{#blank#}1{#/blank#} away. But wait—isn't this stealing? No, it isn't. No one shouts, “Stop! Thief!” That is b{#blank#}2{#/blank#}this free ride is just fine with the city.

You can find hundreds of free yellow bikes in some US cities. The idea began in Portland, Oregon, in 1994. People saw a need for free transportation, and they wanted to help c{#blank#}3{#/blank#}pollution. So, to get citizens(市民) o{#blank#}4{#/blank#} of their cars and onto pollution-free bikes, they s{#blank#}5{#/blank#} the Yellow Bike Project.

    The public bikes are painted bright yellow and placed all o{#blank#}6{#/blank#} the city. People can hop on the yellow bike and ride to run errands(短程差事), to work o{#blank#}7{#/blank#} to school. Then, they leave the bike for the n{#blank#}8{#/blank#} rider. There have been times when bikes have been stolen, but most people f{#blank#}9{#/blank#} the rules, because they think it is not wise to steal the bike that's already free.

    Portland's i{#blank#}10{#/blank#} was quickly loved by a lot of people. Within two years of its starts, similar programs were set up in cities in six other states.

Some places in Australia are very{#blank#}3{#/blank#}, so these sheep sre very important {#blank#}4{#/blank#}the farmers there, {#blank#}5{#/blank#}the big Merino, there is a small {#blank#}6{#/blank#} about the{#blank#}7{#/blank#} of wool in Australia. Visitors can also{#blank#}8{#/blank#} up to the Big Merino's{#blank#}9{#/blank#} and look at the{#blank#}10{#/blank#} through its eyes.

    Have you heard{#blank#}1{#/blank#} this short story? It's about a deer (梅花鹿) who lived in the forest. He had large and beautiful antlers (鹿角). The antlers protected him from being hurt by other animals, so he was always {#blank#}2{#/blank#} because of them.

    One day, the deer went to a river to drink water. The water was{#blank#}3{#/blank#} clear that it was like a mirror (镜子). When the deer looked at himself in the water, he smiled. "I look like{#blank#}4{#/blank#} king," he said, "And this forest is my country." Then he noticed something else." My legs are thin and my feet are small," he said. "They look so weak. I hate{#blank#}5{#/blank#}."

    While the deer was thinking this, he felt something strange. A hungry tiger was {#blank#}6{#/blank#}behind a tall tree near the river. As{#blank#}7{#/blank#} as the deer saw the tiger, he ran away quickly. The tiger ran after him and tried to catch him.

    {#blank#}8{#/blank#}to his thin legs, the deer reached the trees first. But his large antlers got stuck in (卡住) some small sticks of the trees. He couldn't move at all and then the tiger came and caught him.

    The deer cried out, "I love my antlers, but they made me{#blank#}9{#/blank#} into trouble. Though I hated my legs and feet, they helped me run faster and jumped over stones. I was so{#blank#}10{#/blank#}! In fact, they are all important to me!"
