Many of us enjoy watching animals in the world. But do you know they can teach us?

    Geese(雁), for example, teach a very good lesson about 1. In the fall, Canada geese fly to the warm south to 2 Canada's cold winter. They lift off in no order. Yet 3 they form a V shape, with one bird leading the group.

    This V shape allows geese to 4 energy. When the front bird moves its wings up and down, the resulting force of the air lifts the next one. This continues down the line. The bird 5 has the hardest job. When it gets6 , it moves behind, and another bird moves into the lead. By sharing the role, the group can travel great distances. Geese flying in a V shape can fly 70 per cent farther without 7 than birds flying alone. During the long flying journey, geese communicate with one another. They honk(鸣叫) to 8 the birds up front to keep up the speed. They also cheer each other up 9 working toward a common goal.

    What have we learned from the lovely geese's experience and skills?

    10 together! Whether it is our personal lives or our jobs, we need other people. We need the spirit of teamwork!

    One fresh sunny day, while I was swimming in the water, I felt something special going through my gills（腮）. It was a different kind of water. I also found many of my friends became sick. Some of them were dying. I was thinking about what I should do to save my friends, so I decided o do some research for my underwater life.

    My research started. At first, I noticed there were many bottles, cans and other kinds of rubbish in the water. Then I went on. I got closer and then I tasted many different kinds of liquid（液体）. To my surprise, I noticed a man pouring some liquid into the water. Others also saw him doing so and they decided to follow him. I hated it! I wish I could have told them that it was killing us!

    I think it is so stupid for people to do this to the earth that they are living on! I can't understand why they are doing this. Humans should stop throwing waste into the lakes or rivers. I want to have a normal life with my friends. People should stop being so selfish and care about the environment. If they do that, everyone will be fine and will have nothing to worry about. I suggest they follow my words. If so, I believe everyone will be able to live a happy life.

As we all know, it's necessary for teenagers to form a reading habit. Take a look at the advantages of reading and you'll never be lazy to do that.

It helps to develop your imagination.

Reading can develop your ability to form pictures or ideas in your minds. A wonderful imagination makes your minds work well and think quickly and clearly. You'll be successful in reaching the top in many fields.

It improves your language.

Reading also improves your language. You can remember many words you read, so it can enlarge your vocabulary. It is probable for you to use those words in many situations after you read them. Reading more books helps you to express yourself better.

It makes you smarter.

Reading makes you smarter. When you read books, you can enrich your knowledge which isn't from your textbooks. It helps you be successful in school as you have already known a lot from books. What's more, you can tell what is good and what is bad through reading.

So try to form a reading habit and influence the people around you.

I have always been interested in the animal world. Recently, I read a book about animals called A Lion's Travelling. Chinese writer Shen Shixi wrote it.

The book tells the story of five lions. After they are made to leave their home, one is hurt by a giraffe. Another is killed by a hunter. The third one dies during a fight for water. The fourth lion dies in the river. Only the youngest one, named Red Ribbon, is still alive. After going through many difficulties, he finally becomes the lion king.

The story shows the love and care between friends, the life and death faced by brothers, the determination (决心) to deal with challenges. The fact that the young lion finally becomes the king teaches me a great lesson: Those experiences of going through difficulties will make us stronger. Everyone will face lots of difficulties during their lifetime. We should learn to stay strong and keep finding our better selves.

The book is full of something exciting about the life of lions. Together with lovely pictures, it gives readers a wonderful experience. If you want to read the great story and learn a lot about the animals in the real world, choose it!

Whether we're young or old，rich or poor，we have one thing in common：The moon always looks down at each of us when it lights up the night sky. 

Just like a mirror，the moon reflects the sun's light. It can also reflect people's feelings. This is probably why the moon is always popular among Western and Chinese music，poems and other forms of literature. So when we look at the moon，what exactly do we see looking back at us?

Well，that depends on who's looking. 

The ancient Greek poet(古希腊诗人) Sappho，for example，saw the moon as a woman who lit up space with her beauty. 

Later in England，however，the moon's image(形象) was completely different. In the Middle Ages，English people often drank to get away from difficult life. In their eyes，the moon was a man who liked drinking. In London，at least three pubs(酒馆) were named Man in the Moon. It's probably because the bright moon at night looks like a man's red face after drinking. A popular song sung in the pubs at that time even went，"Our man in the moon drinks wine…"

__▲__ Chinese Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai's Quiet Night Thought reads，"I look up to the mountain moon，and then I look down and think of home. " Similarly，Zhang Jiuling wrote in another poem，"Looking at the moon and thinking of one far away. " So in Chinese culture，when people look at the moon，they may miss their hometown and someone. Very interesting，right?
