David Beckham, a well--known football player, was born in London on May 2nd, 1975. He is about 1.80 metres tall. He is very strong and big. He is quite a good football player. He scored a lot of goals for his old team — the National Football Team of England(英格兰围家足球队). He joined the Real Madrid(皇家马德里对) after he left his old team. He wants to play football in Paris in the next World Cup.

     John went to the planet Mars for his holiday. This is his holiday.

Monday

     We arrived in the Mars City at 4:30 in the afternoon (Mars time) by a space shuttle. We went to the Mars Hotel (five stars) for dinner before going to bed. I was very tired after the journey (it takes 72 hours to get there) , but I am looking forward to my holiday very much.

Tuesday

     I didn't sleep well because of the weightlessness(), the gravity is only about three-eighths of that on Earth. I hit my head on the bedroom ceiling several times. After breakfast we spent the morning on the Mars farm. They don't use earth or chemicals to grow their food. We had lunch on the farm and then had a hoverbus ride over the Mars City. That was very exciting. In the evening we went shopping in the Mars City Shopping Mall. I bought some souvenirs for my family and my friends.

    Mike is 13 years old, and he is interested in collecting stamps. He began to collect stamps when he was 8 years old. He spends all his pocket money on stamps. Sometimes his parents send him stamps when he does well in his study. Therefore, Mike collects a lot of stamps. He often shows his stamps to his friends and his neighbours (邻居). He usually goes to his mail box (信箱) to get letters after school. He wants the stamps from them. One day, Mike went to the mail box to get letters. But there were no letters in his box. He found a letter in the box next to his. The letter is to Mrs Green. There was a beautiful stamp on the letter. So he got off the stamp carefully and hurried home. After he went home, he was afraid that Mrs Green would know he got her stamp. On the morning of the next day, Mike put the stamp back to Mrs Green's box and then went to school. When he came back from school, he met Mrs Green. She smiled to Mike. Mike smiled, too.

An old lady was really glad when she was on the way back home. She was so tired after she shopped all day long. In the lift, she thought she would have a {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(杯子) of coffee and a quick dinner, but when she got out on her own floor, both were forgotten because she found that her front door was open. 

She walked slowly into the hall and {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(立即) noticed that all the room doors were open. She said to herself, "I remember {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(锁) the front door. And I'm sure that I have {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(关上) all the room doors before going out. "

It was clear that a thief(小偷) had come into her house. There were some footprints on the floor and on the {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(沙发). The old lady was so {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(不高兴的) that she telephoned the police at once. After a while, a {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(两个) of policemen came and asked the lady some questions. Then they searched the house {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(细心地) and asked the old lady to check what was lost. After {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(午夜), the policemen left. They advised her not to stay {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(独自) in the house, so she telephoned her daughter and asked her to stay with her for several days.

I usually go to school at 7:10. I have six lessons a day. My8 class is always a science class. Science is my favorite subject. My science 9 name is Mary Black. She is beautiful. On Saturday mornings, I go to a sports club. I do sports there from 9:00 to 10: 30. I can 10 tennis well. On Sunday mornings, I do my homework at home. I have a busy weekend. What about your weekend?
