It was Tom's birthday, and he was five years old. He got quite a lot of presents from his family. His grandpa gave him a beautiful big drum(鼓). Of all the presents, Tom liked his drum best. He made terrible noise with it, but his mother didn't mind. His father was working in the daytime and Tom was in bed when he got home in the evening. So he didn't hear the noise. But one of his neighbors didn't like the noise. So one morning she took a knife and went to Tom's house when he was hitting his drum. She said to him, “Hello, Tom, do you know there is something very nice inside your drum? Here is a knife. Open the drum and let's find it.”

 From 1982，every family in cities could only have one child.Wang Bing and her husband （ 丈 夫 ） were 1 same.There was the only one son in their family.Wang Bing and her husband felt so sorry for him. 2 ，every family can have three children in our country now.Two babies joined their family.They were happy  3 they were also busy.

The boy went home and thought about it for a （an）8 and hard time. He asked his father what he should do. His father said, "Look, son, you have to have your own mind on this. " Finally, after sitting with it for a week, the boy turned in the same paper, making no 9 at all. He told his teacher, "You could keep the F and I still keep my dream. "

Monty tells me this story because I am sitting in his 4000- square- foot house in the middle of my 200- acre horse ranch. He said a lot of kids' dream can be stolen. Don't let anyone steal your dreams. Follow your heart, no matter what happens. 10 he had enough courage not to give up his dream. 

 Carol is a middle school student. She does 1 in only one subject. That is 2 . Carol always does her history homework well and 3 good grades(分数) in history tests. She likes her history teacher Mr. Aragon very 4 . She feels that he is like her 5 .
