Frank was a teenager living with his father. He had so many family rules t {#blank#}1{#/blank#}  he couldn't stand, so he left home. Because he couldn't find a job, he had to make a l {#blank#}2{#/blank#} by begging.

 Years later, his father was old, but he was still l{#blank#}3{#/blank#}  for his son. He had been to every corner of the city.  E {#blank#}4{#/blank#}   he went, he put up a big photo of himself and Frank on the wall. At the lower part to the photo, he w{#blank#}5{#/blank#} , “I still love you, my dearest son. Please come back home!”

  One day, Frank saw one of the photos. The faces on the photo were familiar to him. "Is that my father?" He thought for a while and decided to go b {#blank#}6{#/blank#}   to see his father.

 It was an early morning w {#blank#}7{#/blank#} he got home. The door was not locked. He rushed to his father's bedroom. “It's me! Your son is back home!” The father and the son held each other, full of happy tears（眼泪）in their e {#blank#}8{#/blank#} . The son asked, “W  {#blank#}9{#/blank#}  is the door unlocked? A thief could get in." The father answered in a soft v {#blank#}10{#/blank#} . “Because I'm expecting your return. In fact, the door has never been locked since you left."

Jellyfish and Crocodiles（水母和鳄鱼）

Hi, my name's Ben. My family, that's Mum, Dad and me, live in Broome in Western Australia. Western Australia is about 80 times larger than Italy, but only 1.5 million people live there. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} It has a population of about 12,000. It's right on the coast and is known for its famous Cable Beach, which is 20km long.

    We live in the town in a house with a large garden. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} We drive to Cable Beach and look for a quiet place to swim or to fish. We don't go swimming from October to March because there may be box jellyfish in the water. The box jellyfish is one of the most dangerous jellyfish. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} If you are attacked by one, the best thing to do is to pour vinegar（醋）over the area of your body where you are hurt. That's why we always take a bottle of vinegar with us.

     {#blank#}4{#/blank#} A year ago I went camping in the bush with my friend Bill and his dad. We wanted to do some fishing and set up camp about 20 metres from a river. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} Bill's father told us to get up and we quickly got out of the tent and ran to the car, which was only 10 metres away.

    Bill's dad started the car and turned on the head. In the light, we could see a big crocodile pulling the tent into the river!

    I'm Mark. I live on a farm. There are some elephants on my farm. They can play soccer and {#blank#}1{#/blank#}. They are very smart. I use them to carry things, sometimes, {#blank#}2{#/blank#}.

    I'm Sue and I'm from India(印度). The Indian people look up to cattle. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. When you come to India, you can see cattle walking along the streets, and eating fruits and vegetables in the shops.

    Hi, I'm Judy. I live in Australia. My family has three shepherd dogs(牧羊犬).  These dogs are not big but {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. They can run very fast.

    I'm Leo and I have a parrot. Her name is Susan. She is beautiful and interesting. And she can speak, too. When my friends come to my home {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. Susan likes eating carrots. And she likes singing when she feels happy.

Let go of the problems

    There are many teenagers who have too much pressure. Last Wednesday, Mr. Trent began his psychological health class {#blank#}1{#/blank#} holding up a glass of water. He asked the students{#blank#}2{#/blank#}would happen if he held it up for a day.{#blank#}3{#/blank#} student said the teacher's arm would ache or go numb. He might have to go to hospital! All the students laughed.

     "But during the time, did the {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(weigh) of the glass change?" asked Mr. Trent. "Then what caused the pain and numbness?" 

     The students {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(be) puzzled.

      "What should I do now {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(get) rid of the pain?" asked Mr. Trent again.

      "Put the glass down!" said another student.

      "{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(exact)!" said Mr. Trent. "Life's problems are something {#blank#}8{#/blank#} caused the pain like this glass. Hold them for a few {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(minute) in your hand and they seem OK. Think of them for a long time and they begin to ache. The longer you hold them, the more painful you feel."

     It's important to think of the challenges or problems in your life. But what's even {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(important) is to put them down at the end of every day.
