Your schooldays should be some of the best and happiest days of your life. You shouldn't waste this wonderful opportunity to learn. Here is our advice for you to have a happy school life.

  Advice 1:{#blank#}1{#/blank#}. Don't say things are difficult or boring. Be interested in school life and your school subjects. Join lots of activities. Be quick to put your hand up.

  Advice 2:{#blank#}2{#/blank#}.School is not a holiday camp. If you are not working, you are not learning, and you are wasting your time at school. Teachers can not make everything enjoyable.

  Advice 3:{#blank#}3{#/blank#}. Do today's work today. Do not say you will do things tomorrow. If you get behind the class, it is very difficult to get back in front. You can not finish a race if you rest all the time.

 Advice 4: {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. Sometimes they are only the result of misunderstanding . Don't be too embarrassed to ask for help. You are young. No one thinks you can do everything!

Advice 5:{#blank#}5{#/blank#}. Don't waste life lying in bed on Saturday morning. Go and play a sport, learn the piano, work on a project, read a book, practice English, or help someone with problems. There are always a lot of things to do.

    I was happy in those days before I started going to school. Because I had good neighbors to play with. I played with them from morning to evening. We played games outdoors, dressed up as cowboys and rode around on our tricycles(三轮车) happily.

    At the age of five, I had to go to kindergarten(幼儿园) and it was quite hard for me at first. I felt very sad about having to leave my mother each morning. I cried and wanted my mother around. As the days went by, however, I made friends easily in my class. I became happy again and looked forward to leaving my house each morning.

    I still remember those days when I was learning to ride a bicycle. I fell several times but I never gave up. Finally, I was able to join my friends riding around on my bike.

    Another memory I like is the end-of-year concert held at the kindergarten. I was chosen to play the role of Jack in the play, Jack and the Magic Beans. I became the superstar that night and received praise for my performance.

    What a wonderful childhood I had! At times I really wish I could go back to those days.

    Nowadays, many people have realized the importance of leadership( 领导) skills.  Poor leaders may cause many problems. But good leaders do better in solving problems than poor ones. Without good leaders, problems can't be solved. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} What's more, good leaders are good at cooperating with others. Usually, they are good listeners as well. But being good leaders isn't easy. So let me give you some suggestions to help you become a good leader.

    {#blank#}2{#/blank#} Maybe nobody teaches you how to be a good leader, but you can learn it on your own.

    Read books about great leaders from home and abroad. By reading, you can learn a lot from their experiences and find out their secrets of success. Then you will be more confident of being a good leader.

    Learn from students' leaders in your school. There is no doubt that those leaders who are popular with the students in your school must have their advantages over others. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} Take an active part in the activities organized by the excellent leaders and learn from them at once.  Then you will know the answer.

    {#blank#}4{#/blank#} Find the students that have the same interests as you have and start a club. Activities should be organized regularly in the club. When the members in your club have trouble in solving problems, you should communicate with them and find out the causes of the problems.  After the problems are solved, you can share pleasure with them. As time passes by, you will get more trust like those popular leaders.  Sooner or later, you will be a good leader.

    What is the Homework Club?

    The Homework Club is a good place for students to do their homework. It is very quiet. A teacher will help students prepare for the tests there. The teacher is not to teach students but to give them help when they need.

    Where is the Homework Club?

    The Homework Club is usually in a library or in a classroom. It is a popular activity after school every day. If there is no school that day, Homework Clubs will NOT meet.

    What will students do in the Homework Club?

    In the Homework Club, the students will do their homework for the first hour and then they will draw pictures or play football.

Make memories of ginkgo (银杏)leaves

    Autumn is the season of harvest (收获). Leaves turn golden and are blown around by the wind. The ginkgo is one of my favorite trees.

⑴I love its beautiful golden leaves which look like fans. This autumn, I picked up some ginkgo leaves. I cleaned and dried them in the sun. When they are ready, they will be my specimens (标本). And I will put them in my books and use them as bookmarks. ⑵They will remind me of the season whenever I open my books. They are my memory of this autumn.
