A "blog" is a shortened name for a'web log". People write blogs about all kinds of things, from news and events to hobbies and reviews. Some people use them just as a simple record of what they have done.

    “Blogging" had become very popular as more and more people use the Internet. New technologies have made keeping a blog an easy thing to do, so millions of people now have their own blogs. They are usually free to set up and are easy to update. You can upload pictures onto a blog and link to other websites. To many people, these features make blogs much more useful than traditional diaries.

     We are now able to send texts, pictures and videos from our mobile phones directly onto the Web. New technologies like this are making blogging even easier, People also think that blogs are better than newspapers for finding out about news, events and opinions. They like to use blogs  because they can get information from everywhere. It looks like blogs are going to become one of the most important ways to find and share information in the near future.

    A boy and his father were walking in the mountains. Suddenly the boy fell down and hurt himself, so he cried, "AAAhhhhhh!" To his surprise, he heard the voice repeating, somewhere in the mountain, "AAAhhhhhb!" Then the boy shouted back, "Who are you?" He received the answer "Who are you?" He got angry at the answer, so he shouted, "Foolish!" He received the answer, "Foolish!"

    He looked at his father and asked, "What's going on?" The father smiled and said, 'My son, listen. "And then he shouted to the mountain, "I love you!" The voice answered, "I love you!" Again the man cried, "You're the best!" The voice answered, "You're the best!" The boy was surprised, but did not understand.

    Then the father explained, "People call this 'echo', but in fact this is life. It gives you back everything you say or do. Our life is just a reflection(反映)of what we have done. If you want more love in the world, have more love in your heart. If you want to be successful, work hard. This can be used hi everything in life. Life will give you back everything you have given to it."

    During the time of Jin Dynasty, there was a man named Le Guang. One day, Le Guang asked one of his friends to have dinner at his home. After dinner, his friend was back.

    For a long time, his friend didn't come. Then Le Guang heard that his friend was ill, so he came to visit him. Le Guang asked him what was wrong with him. His friend answered, "Last time, at your home I found a little snake in the glass and I was ill after I drank the alcohol (酒)." Le Guang was very surprised because there wasn't a snake in the glass. Suddenly, he remembered there was a bow (弓) on the wall. There must be the shadow (影子) of the bow which looked like a little snake.

    So Le Guang asked his friend to join him for a drink again. When the glass was full of alcohol, he pointed to the shadow of the bow in the glass and asked his friend to have a look. His friend shouted, "That is what I saw last time!" Le Guang laughed and took away the bow.

    "Can you see the snake now?＂ he asked. His friend was surprised to find that the snake was gone. After his friend knew the truth, he was well.

    For many years, this story has been used to advise people not to be too suspicious (怀疑的) easily.

Jasmine sat sewing (缝) a handkerchief in the garden. Suddenly, a little insect came running in such a hurry across the small stone. Immediately, an idea 1 Jasmine. She dropped her thimble (顶针) over the little ant. Seeing him running round and round to find the exit, Jasmine thought it was 2 and laughed out loud. As night 3 , she ran away for dinner and forgot all about him.

"Well, there are father ants and mother ants, and lots of other ants who are 11 to the little ones. 12 knows his own children, but all the grown-up ones are kind to all the babies. See how he hurries off!"

While they were talking, the little ant was soon 13 among the grass. In a little while came the ant with a group of friends. 

"He has been home and told them the good 14 about the honey," said Dad. "Do you think that all children are as kind as that?"

"No, I don't run to call my friends when I find a good place of blackberries."

"Then," said father, "just learn from the ant, 15 he is only a little tiny thing."
