“The Chinese Dream” is a hot topic of this year Many Chinese young people are inspired (启发) by the Chinese Dream. Everyone has their own dreams.     Never giving up is the key to making our dreams come true. We may {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (failure) from time to time, but we can learn from failure, correct our mistakes and try again until we achieve our goals.     An old saying goes, “When in Rome(罗马),do as the Romans do.” I learned the {#blank#}1{#/blank#} of this when I studied in Russia.

    One day I invited some of my Chinese friends to a famous local restaurant in Moscow. My guests and I were {#blank#}2{#/blank#}  from visiting Red Square and happy about our meeting. We had a warm  chat  until  the  waiter  told  me  that  we  were  being  too  loud.  We  turned  our  voices {#blank#}3{#/blank#} .But this didn't last long. The waiter came over to us two more {#blank#}4{#/blank#}  with the same message.

    How bad an impression(印象) we must have left on the local people! In China, it's {#blank#}5{#/blank#}  and important for a host to make a {#blank#}6{#/blank#}  atmosphere(气氛).However, in Russia and {#blank#}7{#/blank#}  countries, having a meal in a public place means you must keep your voice low. You need to be polite to others.

    I felt bad about this. Even though we tried our {#blank#}8{#/blank#} , it's very difficult to develop a new habit.

    Russians have their own special habits. My Russia friend, Andrey always looks around and thinks for a while before leaving home. I asked him why he did this. “Aha,” Andrey said, “in Russia, people always take about a minute {#blank#}9{#/blank#}  over things and plans in their minds before leaving. So they won't leave anything necessary behind.”

    Finding the {#blank#}10{#/blank#}  between cultures is much fun. I'd like to keep my eyes and mind open.

    Last month, I visited a school in Canada. What I {#blank#}1{#/blank#}（听见）most often there was questions like “Shall we do the task in pairs?” and “Four students each group.” In Canada, I found students were often asked to act in groups. T{#blank#}2{#/blank#} team spirit really surprised me.

    This was {#blank#}3{#/blank#} writing lesson. The teacher asked every five students to work in one group and each group should write one article {#blank#}4{#/blank#}（一起）. In a group, the first student began the story. After that, the student had to pass the paper to the n{#blank#}5{#/blank#} one. That student should go on with the story. Just like this, the paper was p{#blank#}6{#/blank#} until the last student tried his best to finish the story with a good ending. Each of them only had one {#blank#}7{#/blank#}['mɪnɪt] to do the job and they all did well.

    Finally, a group of students got prizes because of their best story. All the {#blank#}8{#/blank#} were excited because the lesson was actually like a game. Learning how to write through the game was fun to them. We all know that cooperation（合作）, but how can we have {#blank#}9{#/blank#} [sʌtʃ] an ability? I think we can learn something {#blank#}10{#/blank#} schools in Canada. Maybe it's a good idea to begin with group activities.

    Reading books is a good hobby for all kinds of reasons.

    First, reading books is f{#blank#}1{#/blank#} You can always keep yourself interested and help you to have an enjoyable time if you like reading.It is a relaxing hobby too.You can really become lost in a book.

    Next, you can read a book a{#blank#}2{#/blank#} : in a car, in a waiting-room, on a plane, in bed — even in the bath.All you n{#blank#}3{#/blank#} is a book! Reading is a convenient hobby as it is easy to stop and then s{#blank#}4{#/blank#} again.

    I work in a school library. There are many kinds of {#blank#}1{#/blank#} in it. They are about English, science, history, music and so on. You can do some {#blank#}2{#/blank#}or borrow books from it. But there are some {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. You must obey (遵守) them.

    When you are reading in the library, you have to be {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. Don't talk loudly or make any noise (喧哗). You can't listen to music, {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. You can't {#blank#}6{#/blank#}your bags or wet umbrellas into the library. {#blank#}7{#/blank#} eat in the library. You can {#blank#}8{#/blank#} books from the library, {#blank#}9{#/blank#} you can't lend them to others. You have to take good care of them and return them on {#blank#}10{#/blank#}. If the library books are lost, you have to pay for them.
