These days our government is aiming to build an "economized(节省) society".{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(作为) students, you can do something that you can.

 First, save things. You'd better walk to school or {#blank#}2{#/blank#} a bike instead of taking a car. Turn off the{#blank#}3{#/blank#}as soon as you leave the classroom. Remember to turn off the tap right after washing your hands. When you go out to eat in a {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (餐馆), ask for smaller dishes and take leftovers（剩菜）h{#blank#}5{#/blank#}_.Before you buy something new, think {#blank#}6{#/blank#}  it is necessary or not.

 Second, use things for as long as p{#blank#}7{#/blank#} .When you buy things, make sure that they can {#blank#}8{#/blank#} a long time. Don't use a paper cup or a paper bag. It's better to use a china cup because you can use it again.

  Finally, collect what can be{#blank#}9{#/blank#} （回收利用) in your classroom, such as waste paper and soft drink cans. It can save money and protect the environment.

  In general, I think one thing we should keep in mind is that {#blank#}10{#/blank#} matter what a small effort we make, it will make a difference.

    Nelson Mandela was one of the greatest leaders in the world. He was born in Transkei, South Africa {#blank#}1{#/blank#} July 18^th, 1918. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} bad news! He died on December 5^th, 2013. He died at the age of 95. Nelson Mandela was an important person all over the world.

    Have you ever heard of anything about crying marriage(哭嫁)? It sounds surprising, doesn't it? In fact, the custom of crying marriage {#blank#}1{#/blank#}a long time ago in many parts of Sichuan Province, Southwest China. And it remained popular till the end of the Qing Dynasty.

    Sometimes, you can still see it happening in some {#blank#}2{#/blank#}far away from cities if you are lucky enough. Though it is not {#blank#}3{#/blank#} popular as before, the custom can still be seen by people in many places, especially in the villages of Tujia people. They regard it as something {#blank#}4{#/blank#}has to be done when a marriage happens.

    It is {#blank#}5{#/blank#}same in different places of China. According to the tradition, every bride(新娘) had to {#blank#}6{#/blank#}at the wedding(婚礼). If not, the bride's neighbors would look down upon {#blank#}7{#/blank#}as a girl from a poor family. And she would be laughed at {#blank#}8{#/blank#}all the villagers. In fact, her mother sometimes beat the bride for not crying at the wedding.

In a {#blank#}9{#/blank#}, crying at weddings is a way to set off for happiness. The bride doesn't really feel sad in her heart. {#blank#}10{#/blank#}, in the marriages of the old days of China, quite a lot of brides indeed cried over their unlucky marriages and even their bad life.
