I'm Philip．Whenever I think about my past life,one unusual experience comes into my mind．It happened during my summer holidays last year．

    Last May,my father began to work in a new factory and we moved to a house near it．There were hundreds of fish and snakes in a river not far from the factory．Among them，the cobra(眼镜蛇)was the most dangerous one．My brother and I played a lot in the river during our summer holidays．In the afternoons,we liked to go out to catch fish from the river．Sometimes we also caught some water snakes，but they were not harmful．

    One afternoon,as I put my hand into the river,I touched something cool．Thinking it was a fish．I gripped(紧抓)it at once and tried to bring it out．But to my surprise, it was a cobra!I relaxed my grip at once and ran away．My brother,a few metres away,was too surprised to speak when he saw the cobra moving towards him with its mouth open．He started to run．I stopped to pick up a rock and threw it at the cobra．Surprisingly,the cobra now turned towards me and I had to run again．But I was very tired at that time，and couldn't run quickly．Luckily, my brother soon found a big rock．He threw it at the cobra and killed(杀死)it．

    After that,my mother didn't allow us to play in the river any more．We listened to her．After all,it was something we'd never want to experience again．

    Everybody has his own hero in mind and is always trying to copy his behaviors in life. As for me, my 1 is just that man. My grandfather had a small farm. He also worked in a 2.

    One autumn, most of the farmers in the village were 3, so he promised to help his neighbor harvest（收割）the corn as he often did. 4, after harvesting his own corn, Grandpa's little corn machine broke.     Mr. Brown is 80 years old. Every morning he goes for a walk in the park. And he comes home at half past twelve for lunch. But today a car stops at his house at twelve. Two policemen help him get out. One of them says to Mr. Brown's daughter. “The old man can't find his way home in the park, so we bring him back” The daughter thanks the policemen. Then she asks her father, “Dad , you go to that park every day. But today, you can't find the way. What's wrong with you（你怎么了）?” The old man smiles（笑） like a child and says, “I can find my way. But I don't want to walk home.”

    Three travelers, Allan, Carl and Paul were sitting on the chairs in a train station. They were waiting for a train that was very late.

    To kill time, they began talking to each other.

    At first, they talked about the weather and their work. Then Paul said, "Tell me-what would you most like to do if your doctor tells you that you have only three months to live?"

    The other two men thought about this for a while, then Carl spoke.

    "Well," he said, "if I have only three months to live, I'll take all my money out of the bank and go to foreign countries for holidays with my best friend, Erik. I'd like to travel to the places in the world as many as possible. And I'll stay at the best hotels and then eat the best food. I think I'll have a wonderful time. "

    "That's very interesting." Paul said.

    With these words, he turned to the other man, saying, "And what about you?"

    "I'll tell you a secret," Allan said. "I always want to be a racing driver. So if I have only three months to live, the first thing I'd like to do is to sell my house. With the money I'll buy the fastest car in the world. Perhaps I can enter all the big motor races."

    Then he laughed, "I might even end up world champion (冠军). "

    "Now it's your turn," Allan went on, "If your doctor tell you the bad news, what would you most like to do?"
