I'm Maggie．When l was a teenager(青少年)，I wanted to leave school and have my own life．The only1I could think of doing this was to work in the brick(砖)factory in my town．I was very2when I told my father my idea．I thought he would say,"No!You are going to college．"But he3said．"OK．Let's go to the brick factory．"

    Two days later,he took4to the factory．I had a romantic(浪漫主义的)idea of working in a factory．I imagined everyone to be friends working together and having fun．I5imagined that there would be music and singing．I guess I had watched too many movies as a teenager．

When we6the factory gate,my father spoke to the guard(警卫)and one minute later we were inside．My father said．"Take your time．Have a close look before you decide to work here．"I walked7the factory,looking at the buildings and workers and listening to the noise．Later,I ran back to my father and said，"I want to go home．"

    He asked why,looking into my eyes.

     "It's8here."I answered.

    I went back to school the next day.From then on ,I began to9very hard.I got into a good college.After I left college,I 10a good job at a big company.Thanks to my father and our trip to the brick factory,I'm now living a really happy life!

    Two brothers decided to dig a deep hole behind their house. As they were working, a couple of older boys 1 to watch.
