I went to the doctor's yesterday {#blank#}1{#/blank#} I had a bad cold. I have {#blank#}2{#/blank#} for three days, so I had a sore throat. When I got there,m there were many people {#blank#}3{#/blank#}  inline. I had to join the line at the end. But the man who was in front of me was{#blank#}4{#/blank#}  there. The smoke made me sick. I wanted to stop him but I was afraid he would get{#blank#}5{#/blank#} . But I really couldn't stand it. So I told him {#blank#}6{#/blank#} , “Would you mind smoking outside?” After hearing what I said, the man threw the{#blank#}7{#/blank#}  on the ground and said to me, “Sorry.”I thought it was bad to do so, but I said {#blank#}8{#/blank#} and picked up the cigarette. Seeing what I was doing, the {#blank#}9{#/blank#}  face turned red and felt very sorry about {#blank#}10{#/blank#} he did. He turned to me and said, “You are a good girl. I won't do that again.”

    My house is on a hill. There was only a small parking place. As a new driver, Iwas so scared when I realized I would have to reverse（倒车）out of the driveway. I knew that if I parked backwards（朝后）, it would be easier to get out later. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}.

    For three months, I didn't even think of trying. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. But one day, I suddenly thought to myself, “How am I ever going to know whether I can do it if I don't even try?”

    So Istarted my car, went down that hill, turned around and reversed. I made it. I got into the parking place. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}.

As weeks went on, I continued trying. The more I practiced, the better I did. But I had never practiced parking in the dark before. Then I decided to pushmyself. {#blank#}4{#/blank#}.

    When I slowly drove to the parking place, I couldn't see anything. My heart was beating rapidly. A moment later I guessed I was getting somewhere, I let thecar go. Oh, my god! The car hit a tree. {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. But I tried it after all.

    I want to be a teacher {#blank#}1{#/blank#} I grow up. I got the idea because of my mother. She is a university teacher. It seems that she isn't very busy. She only needs {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(go) to work for two days in a week. She can get up late and go home very early, much earlier {#blank#}3{#/blank#} me.

    {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (be) a teacher seems to be a very easy job. That was my first {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(think). But then I found that her job was not easy. After I became a middle school student, I found that my mother goes to bed very late. She is {#blank#}6{#/blank#} checking her students' homework or preparing her classes for the next day.     In Britain, Boxing Day is usually celebrated on December 26th. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} This means it's not a working day in the whole of Britain. When Boxing Day falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the following Monday is the public holiday.
