There is a zoo near my house. I like {#blank#}1{#/blank#} there. There are many {#blank#}2{#/blank#} in it.

He is playing with kids with his{#blank#}8{#/blank#} nose. They are very funny. Look! In the pool, there are two dolphins. You may think there is nothing but sand in the desert of the world, but it is not true. In the desert we can{#blank#}1{#/blank#} stones. We can see hills, too. There is a little rain in the {#blank#}2{#/blank#}  , but it is not{#blank#}3{#/blank#}  for most plants.
　　The animals are {#blank#}4{#/blank#} to the desert people in many ways. The desert people eat the meat and drink the milk of the animals. They use their skins to {#blank#}5{#/blank#} shoes, water bags and even tents(帐篷). They use the camels(骆驼) for{#blank#}6{#/blank#}  things.
The people of the desert have to keep {#blank#}7{#/blank#}  from places to place. They must always look for grass or desert plants for their animals. They usually live in the tents. When there is mo more food for their animals, they take down their tents, put them on the camels and move to {#blank#}8{#/blank#} place. The desert people are very{#blank#}9{#/blank#} . No man in the desert would ever refuse to help the people in {#blank#}10{#/blank#}  and give them food and water

    I have some great friends at summer camp. They can all do different {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (thing). This is Helen. She's good at {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (musical). She can sing, and she can play {#blank#}3{#/blank#} piano. Oh, she's a {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (greatly) dancer, too. But she can't cook. And she can't play the guitar.     What will our world be like in 2050？We asked a group of experts to make their predictions about our future．

    By 2050 we will have"clever"{#blank#}1{#/blank#}．We won't have so many accidents，{#blank#}2{#/blank#} they will be able to communicate with each other．Cars will slow down by themselves or stop in{#blank#}3{#/blank#} situations．Also，our cars will {#blank#}4{#/blank#} on electricity or water．

    By 2050 our homes will be more eco﹣friendly （环保）．We will use solar （太阳的） energy，and we will clean and {#blank#}5{#/blank#} our water．There will be many more people in the world {#blank#}6{#/blank#}our houses will be smaller．Many houses will be underground and we will have {#blank#}7{#/blank#} to help clean，cook and do {#blank#}8{#/blank#}home shopping．

    We won't die!We will put our brains onto computers and live {#blank#}9{#/blank#}．The computers of the future won't look like machines．They'll look like humans．

    By 2050 there will be too many people on the earth and {#blank#}10{#/blank#}100 million people will be living on the moon and other planets．We will be able to travel to Mars and back in just three days．

    How are you？I had a great time last Monday, June 2th, 2014.It was a traditional Chinese festival {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (call) Dragon Boat Festival that day.

    This festival is in memory of Qu Yuan, one of the greatest Chinese poets. He killed himself by {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (jump) into the Miluo River on May 5th of the lunar calendar, 278 BC. People there rowed the boats {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (save) him. But it was too late. They were very sad and then threw rice into the river to feed the fishes so that they would stay away from his body.

    From then on, every year on this day, people enjoy making Zongzi which {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (make) of rice with meat, eggs and so on. In the past we  {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (eat) it only once a year, but now we regard it as our daily food. We can have it any time we like.

    Have you ever {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (watch) the dragon boat race on TV？It is another important part of this festival. Several teams row their dragon shaped boats as fast as they can. The first team to reach the finish line {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (win).

    A camp called Camp Cooper with over 20 years experience in the camp field, is now a very famous and popular camp in the UK. More and more kids are interested in taking part in this camp during their summer or winter holidays. Here is some information about this camp.

    Camp Cooper is named after a dog called Cooper because the dog also loves camp - there's nothing he loves more than hanging out with campers.

    Camp Cooper makes the parents believe that sending their children to Camp Cooper is sending them to a place where the children will be taken good care of and the kids won't feel lonely at all there.

    Activities are carefully split(分成) into three kinds. The reason they do this is to give campers the chance to focus their time on activities they are interested in. They plan to create the perfect balance for campers to try new activities and develop their skills.

    Creating and developing friendships are the most important part of Camp Cooper. It's believed that creating connections with different people is very important for development, confidence and well-being. People feel the happiest when they are connected to others and the workers here work hard to make sure that everyone is included and feels part of the Camp community.

    Camp Cooper gives students confidence to speak and learn English. The workers also work with each of the students to help the campers become a more confident English speaker.

    It's said that the kids who take part in this camp will go home more confidently and be more willing to try new things.
