Yesterday morning, I was surprising to hear that my best friend Allee has been hit by a car and was in hospital. The other day when he was going to cross a street, he was such careful that he didn't go until he saw the traffic light to turn green. But hardly had he got to the middle of the street while he saw a car suddenly appear on his right-hand side and come directly towards them. It was too late for Allee to escape. He was hit by the car or was thrown a few meters away. He was sent to the nearest hospital immediately and had operation. When I went to see him, he was out of dangers but still looked pale. I sincere hope he will recover and return to normal as soon as possible.

    Last week, we watched an excited basketball match in our school. It is between Grade 1 and Grade 2 students. During a match, the players from all teams played very hard. Grade 2 was a stronger team. However, for our surprise, Grade 1 won at last. The player jumped and hugged to celebrate their success. Just then, the players from the other team that approached and said “Congratulations!” to them. They wore smiles on faces and you couldn't tell from their expressions that they had lost the match. We were touching by the scene and felt what important a role sport plays in daily life.

    Yesterday, I saw the old lady fall down when I was hurrying to school. I was about to help her up while suddenly a passer-by stop me, saying that I might be accused of knocking her down.     I am a member of the English Club, which is set up by the Student Union three years before. A lot of teachers and students who are interest in English will gather at the multimedia classroom in every Saturday afternoon. There we usually see English movie, learn to sing English songs but debate on hot topics. Through these activities, we can broaden us horizons and learn about west culture. What's more, we have great fun being together. The English Club is of great help to me on many ways.
