    A musician friend of me once went on an English course during his summer holidays. What he really wants to do was to improve his ability to think and react quick in spoken English. He said speaking a foreign language always made him to feel nervous, even if after three years of study. One of the teacher on the course had very strong views on music, but was not afraid to express them in the lessons. My friend spent most of the class time argue about music with a teacher. When his course finished, he found that his nervousness in English has completely disappeared, and he was speaking far fluently than before.

    I used to going to the countryside to draw animals and plants. One day I was walking across a field, looking rabbits to draw. Losing in thought, I hadn't noticed a bull to running towards me. About 100 meters ahead was a tree under that I would sit and draw. Suddenly, I heard the noise behind me. I turned and saw the bull. Knowing a bull can run more faster than a man, I quickly reached the tree and climb up. From there I saw the bull kicking my food bag with it feet. It kept doing this for 15 minute and moved away. But I was quite nervous in the tree.

Among the four seasons in a year, summer is my favorite, that makes me free, excited and energy. When summer vacation came every year, we can do all that we can't do during our school time, go shopping with friends, swimming in warm water and even hiking and camping in the deep valleys. These activities lead me to enjoy full free. We can find us in an exciting world every day, with the sun shining bright, trees growing better and flowers coming out of with all kinds of colors. Summer makes me full of energy and we feel I have the strength to do most difficult things in my life. I like summer better, and what about you?

Dear friends,

    It is a great honor to share with you my experience in making English speeches.

To tell a truth, my spoken English used to be a big headache for me. Due to my terrible pronunciation, I often got misunderstood or even laughed by others. I never succeed in speech competitions. Therefore, I refused to give up. Every day I spent two hours listen to English programs to improve my oral skills. To my joy, my effort was finally paid off. I made steadily progress and managed to win prizes in some speech competition.

    So problems can help us grow if we deal with it bravely and properly. This is which I've learned from my experience.

    I once paid a brief visit China ten years ago and it was my dream to return someday. Travel the length of the country felt like a dream then. However, in 2017 it finally came truly. Not for a few weeks' adventure, and to live and work for a year. It was an unique opportunity to experience many about the mysterious country. I would communicate with people from different backgrounds and have lots of funs. I was warmly welcomed the moment when I arrived at the college. I thought, "I am going to enjoy this." It really go like this. Indeed, my students often ask, "Bruce, why are we always smiling?" What else could I say?
