We can't stop an earthquake，but we can do things to make sure they don't destroy (毁坏) whole cities.      Many people are fans of the show. They begin to enjoy {#blank#}5{#/blank#} aloud at home. Now, the show gives people from across China a special place to read. It is a reading pavilion(朗读亭). They are in many cities, including Shanghai, Hangzhou and Xi'an.

     The pavilion is very small. {#blank#}6{#/blank#} one person can come into it each time. There is a microphone(麦克风)in it and it records people's voices.     One of my best friends, Bob, has a very large police dog named Jack. Every Sunday afternoon, Bob and Jack have a walk in the park nearby. Jack likes these walks very much.

    One Sunday afternoon, I paid a visit to my friend. I stayed there fora{#blank#}1{#/blank#} time and my friend and I had a longer talk with each other than ever before. Soon it was time for them to take a walk in the park. We {#blank#}2{#/blank#} that, so Jack became worried about it. He walked around the room several times and then sat down in front of me and looked at me.
