I have never been so{#blank#}1{#/blank#} in my life. Well, I had a doctor's{#blank#}2{#/blank#} at 10∶00 yesterday morning but my clock didn't go off, so I{#blank#}3{#/blank#} , my father{#blank#}4{#/blank#} already gone into the bathroom and I had to wait for him to come out. I had to{#blank#}5{#/blank#} . I ran to the bus stop{#blank#}6{#/blank#} breakfast.{#blank#}7{#/blank#} , the bus had left two minutes before I got there. By the time I got to the doctor's office, it was half an hour late. The doctor had already gone to the hospital. Then I{#blank#}8{#/blank#} another appointment at 1∶00 in the afternoon and went home.

    After{#blank#}9{#/blank#} lunch I started watching TV. And then at 2∶00, I suddenly{#blank#}10{#/blank#} I had forgotten the 1∶00 appointment.

    The Congo River(刚果河) is a famous river in Africa. The Congo River gets its {#blank#}1{#/blank#} from the Kingdom of Kongo. It is an {#blank#}2{#/blank#} country on the left bank(河岸) of the river.

    The Congo River is the {#blank#}3{#/blank#} largest river in Africa and the {#blank#}4{#/blank#} river in the world.This river runs for about 2920 miles {#blank#}5{#/blank#} going into the Atlantic Ocean.  The river runs {#blank#}6{#/blank#} several African countries. Because the Congo River runs around the equator(赤道), the water in this river is usually {#blank#}7{#/blank#}.That is different from the water in any other {#blank#}8{#/blank#}.

    As we all know, there is a large {#blank#}9{#/blank#} in Africa,but there are many forests along the river.Many plants and animals{#blank#}10{#/blank#} along the river. It's very important to Africans.

    Anna comes from Russia俄国, She is 17 years old. She's going to stay with the Black family for a year. Anna comes to England because she wants to study English. She helps Mrs. Black {#blank#}1{#/blank#} housework and goes to English class every Wednesday and Friday afternoon.

    Anna is now in London. Everything is{#blank#}2{#/blank#} to her. She finds life is 8{#blank#}3{#/blank#}from that in Moscow. Some things are nice in London, but many things are not so nice.  The restaurants are {#blank#}4{#/blank#} in London than those in Moscow. So it's very difficult to enjoy{#blank#}5{#/blank#}meals in London. It's expensive to have a meal in a restaurant.

B: Well, I travelled to Beijing and spent a happy holiday.

A: Great! I look forward to going to Beijing. Tell me something interesting about it.

B: OK. There are a lot of {#blank#}1{#/blank#} and modern {#blank#}2{#/blank#} in Beijing. I visited many {#blank#}3{#/blank#} such as the Great Wall, the Palace Museum and the Summer Palace.

A: I {#blank#}4{#/blank#} about them. They are very famous. How long did you stay there?

B: I spent a week staying there.

A: Did you enjoy yourself?

B: Yes, of course. I enjoyed not only its beautiful {#blank#}5{#/blank#} scene, but also the delicious food.
