Called the Law on Family Education Promotion（《家庭教育促进法》）, it is the first of its kind in China and came into effect 3 Jan. 1, 2022. It encourages parents and guardians to educate their children properly—morally（道德上）, physically and psychologically.

The law stops parents and guardians from placing too much 4 on their children. Parents and guardians should carefully organize time for minors to study, rest, play and 5 , and make sure minors don't lose themselves in the Internet. They should treat all children equally（平等地）and should 6 use violence（暴 力）to educate children.

For children of migrant workers（外出务工人员）in rural areas, they may be 7 alone while their parents go to work in cities. The law asks local governments to keep a close eye on such families, and help the parents get 8 locally so that they can be more responsible for their children's education.

This fuel is better for the Earth than gasoline (汽油). It does not pollute the air. Plants can help us learn how to make clean energy!

"These days, more and more tourists share their stamps online. Stamp collecting is a good way to help people know more about the local culture. It's really educational, " said Gina, a teacher from a school of Tourism Management in Dongguan. 

The population of the world continues to increase, but in some areas the population is falling. 

This is true in Europe and especially in Eastern Europe. In Russia, the population is going down by about 100 people every hour!

One of the main reasons is a change of lifestyle (生活方式). Most young people, especially educated women, have a different idea on children compared with their parents. "I have one child and she is enough for me," said Linda, a doctor from Russia. "My husband and I both work full- time. We can't imagine having more than one child." Many women decide to have children later in life or not to have children at all. "I don't want to have any children until I have worked for at least 10 years," said Sally from England. Her opinion is typical (典型的) in Europe. 

In Poland, the population is going down for a different reason. A lot of young people are leaving the country to work abroad. Poland joined the European Union in 2004 and since then more than half a million people have moved to Britain, Germany, Spain and Italy. Even so, the population of those four countries and many other countries in West Europe is also going down. 

Many governments are now encouraging people to have larger families. In France, women can receive nearly $1,000 a month for a year if they have a third child. Austrian women receive about $700 a month for three years when they have their first child.
