    You may have returned the book late to the library before. It is normal to pay a small fine, but how many would you have to pay if the book was returned 65 years late ?

    This is a problem what John R. Rogers High School in Washington, US had to deal with recently. A copy of Gone With the Wind that was 65 years overdue was finally returned back to its library. However, the school said on December 2nd that it would not charge late fees of the book, which would have added up about $475 (2941 yuan).

    The long-overdue book is checked out of the library of the high school in 1949, and seemed to disappearing until it was found in Maine, US, by Wayne Hachey. He found the book in his father's basement and then offered to send it back to the school. “We are delightful to have the book back, but we wonder how it has been,” Lori Wyborney, principal of the school, said.

    When I was a very young children, my father created a regular practice I remember well years late. Every time he arrived home at end of the day ,we'd greet her at the door.     "Practice makes perfect" was an old saying.It tells us that it does not any matter if we are slow at doing something.As long as we keep on trying and practice,we'll do a good job at the end.The saying is especial useful in English study.Since a student is poor at speaking,he should catch every chance to open mouth and speak English.His oral English may be excellent one day as a result of his hard works.Not only is the saying useful in English study,but it is helpful in our daily life as well.To some degree,it is no easy way in doing everything since the key to succeed lies in "Practice makes perfect".

    Nowadays many people drive instead of taking a bus or walking to work. It causes more traffic jam and accidents. As the student, what can we do to guarantee our safe?     I went to my friend Jema's house today. I often visited her on the weekend. Sometimes we swim in the pool or play the tennis together. It was raining today, so we couldn't do those thing. "Let's watching a movie," Jema suggested. "You're my guest, Katy, so you can pick the very one which suits you." I finally picked a movie called Dance of Joy. The movie were about a girl called Susan who liked to dance. I told Jema she loved the movie. She laughed and said she had found it complete boring. She had only kept watching it because my enjoying it so much. I felt a little bad about that, and it's nice to have a good friend like Jema.
