Yesterday was Sunday. We had no{#blank#}1{#/blank#} . I wrote a letter to my pen pal and{#blank#}2{#/blank#} lunch for my parents. After lunch I took a {#blank#}3{#/blank#}with Mike through the park behind my house. We saw a little girl{#blank#}4{#/blank#} for something. She lost her keys. “She {#blank#}5{#/blank#}  help,” Mike said. So we helped the girl look for her{#blank#}6{#/blank#} . About ten{#blank#}7{#/blank#}  later, Mike found them in the grass. The girl was {#blank#}8{#/blank#} . We spent much time in looking for the{#blank#}9{#/blank#} keys, but we{#blank#}10{#/blank#}  very happy because we did a good deed（做好事）.

    When you have dinner, you follow table manners. When you have a l{#blank#}1{#/blank#} , you obey the rules in the classroom. But have you ever thought about needing to m{#blank#}2{#/blank#} your manners in the digital(数码的) world when you use phones, e-mails and social media, like QQ, WeChat, etc?

    As new research by Oxford University noted, "It's just important to treat people with respect online as it is in real life." The study came up with some rules of good manners to live by in the digital age. Their first a{#blank#}3{#/blank#} is not "over-sharing" on social media, which means not posting every detail about your life online, because some of us are not creative e{#blank#}4{#/blank#} to always show off our thoughts and lives on social media.  The manners also i{#blank#}5{#/blank#} not looking through others' phones and not gossiping(说闲话) about others over messages, e{#blank#}6{#/blank#} when you choose "reply all" to send a message to a group of people.

    Although gossip is not h{#blank#}7{#/blank#} chat that can make conversations exciting, it can also be a way to spread something untrue about other people. Gossip can be even stronger on social media than in real life, so it's b{#blank#}8{#/blank#} not to gossip.

    Moreover, when you have bad news for someone, do not leave text messages on social media, chat with him or her by c{#blank#}9{#/blank#} personal messages.

    Nowadays, technology has o{#blank#}10{#/blank#} us different ways to contact others. It is important to remember how to behave toward others online.

    Puerto La Cruz is not a big city but it{#blank#}1{#/blank#} very special. There are fifteen beaches there. Did{#blank#}2{#/blank#} go there? I did.

    On July 16th, my friends and I visited Vallecito Beach. Because it's not far from the city center, we{#blank#}3{#/blank#}to take the bus. But there were too many people, and we {#blank#}4{#/blank#}over thirty minutes for the bus.

    Vallecito Beach is a(n){#blank#}5{#/blank#} place. We had a good time there. And there is a(n){#blank#}6{#/blank#}near the beach. We climbed the hill then. After that, we felt{#blank#}7{#/blank#} so I cooked fish by{#blank#}8{#/blank#}. All my friends said the fish was very delicious!

    Joe was over seventy years old. He lived alone in a small village after his wife died. His grandchildren often visited him during the holidays. That was the only fun time he had.

    Once, he{#blank#}1{#/blank#} the whole house to welcome his grandchildren. After he finished cleaning he barn (谷仓), he found he lost his watch. It was {#blank#}2{#/blank#} from his wife when their first child was born. Joe loved the watch very much, especially after his wife died. He was very upset about losing it. The children wanted to help him. They asked Joe when he had last seen his watch. Joe told them he lost it {#blank#}5{#/blank#}he was cleaning the barn. The children searched {#blank#}6{#/blank#} two hours, but couldn't find anything .Then, one of the children asked the others to leave and said he would find the watch by {#blank#}7{#/blank#}. Minutes later, the child brought he watch back. Joe and other children wanted to know how he did it. The boy said, "I sat in the barn {#blank#}8{#/blank#}. Then I heard a "tick—tick' sound and found {#blank#}9{#/blank#}watch." 'Joe hugged the little boy and thanked him. That is the power of quietness. If we stay quiet, we might find {#blank#}10{#/blank#} to solve problems more easily.
