Mammals have warm blood. Mammals are covered with hair or fur. Mother mammals feed milk to their babies.

    All birds have feathers. All birds have two wings. Mother birds lay eggs. Reptiles have cold blood. All reptiles have scales. Mother reptiles lay eggs. Most reptiles have four legs. A snake is a reptile with no legs.

    All insects have six legs. Mother insects lay eggs. Most insects can fly. Most insects have wings.

The Mid-Autumn Festival

    Good afternoon, everyone. I'm a student from China. In China there are many traditional(传统的) festivals. But I want to tell you something about my favourite festival. This festival is in autumn. It is the Mid-Autumn Festival. My mother makes delicious moon cakes at this festival. I love the Mid-Autumn Festival because I love moon cakes a lot. We often have a big family dinner. After dinner, we enjoy the full moon with all the family members. My dear father sings a song for us when we are watching the moon. The night at this festival is very lovely. So do you like the Mid-Autumn Festival?

Dear Paul,

    How are you? You went to the circus(马戏)? That sounds interesting! I love to go to the circus too! I also like football. I'm the goalkeeper on the school football team! I want to be a goalkeeper when I grow up. Do you like football? What do you want to do when you grow up?

    Last time, I wrote that I lived with my parents and brother, but my grandpa moved in last week! Grandpa always tells jokes. I like living with him. Do you often see your grandparents? What are they like?

    Zoom and Zip are good friends. They are planning a trip(旅游).Zip is going to Australia(澳大利亚)!It's so warm there. He can swim all day. He has a new bathing suit(游泳衣)and sunglasses(太阳镜).But Zoom doesn't like swimming. He likes skating. So he is going to Canada, it's winter there now. He can skate all day. He has winter coats(冬衣)and some new skates(滑冰鞋).
