Today is Sunday. It's seven thirty in the morning. The weather is fine. Kate and her parents are going to the Great Wall. Kate's father is a doctor. Her mother is a teacher. Now they're getting on a big bus. There are twenty-two people on it. Some are English,and some are American and Japanese. They look very happy. They're going to the Great Wall,too. There are four Chinese on the bus. A young woman,she's the driver. A young man,he's the guide. My father and I are going to the Great Wall,too.

    I am Tom. Look, this is my bedroom. It is small but clean. There is a bed, a computer, a phone and many books in my bedroom. I make my bed in the morning. In the evening, I do my homework in my bedroom. I play on the computer on Sundays. I like my bedroom very much.

    There are some rules in our school. We must wear school uniforms in the school every day. We must wear sneakers in PE classes. Boys can' t have long hair. We shouldn't be late for school.

    We shouldn't talk in the school library. If we have any questions in class, we should put up our hands first. We should stand up when we answer teachers' questions. We mustn't fight against others. We should always obey the rules(遵守规则).

    Little Peter is now in Beijing with his parents. Little Peter doesn't know much Chinese, but he is trying to learn and speak it. He often tries to speak Chinese to his Chinese friends. Sometimes they don't understand him, because he can't speak Chinese well.

    It's Sunday morning. He goes out. He is walking in the street. He is going to the zoo to see the monkeys, but he doesn't know how to get there. He asks a Chinese boy. The boy can't understand him. Then he takes out a pen and some paper. He draws a monkey on it, and shows the picture to the boy. The boy smiles and then shows little Peter the way to the zoo.
